You want to talk about putting words in your mouth, then you make out saying "fuck'em" is like I'm going on some crusade.

1. I'm talking on an RPG site here, so I would assume there aren't any non-gamer onlookers here judging anything I say.

and

2. Fuck'em isn't aggression, its dismissal.
Cool man. Dont care anymore. Have a good one

This thread was better when we were making sex jokes

As much as I despise Monsterhearts and the whole "Powered by the Apocalypse" series, I still think that if someone does make an RPG that has sex moves in it, they should include the Banner Elk Surprise as one of the more advanced and effective techniques.

It's the kind of thing that would not be out of place in La Blue Girl, so it could be good in a goofball parody game.
What about the Filthy Sanchez or the Donkey Punch?

The greatest thing about Apocalypse World are the sex moves. I mean, when you look at Post-Apocalyptic literature, the most vital theme is who’s fucking who, how, and what they all get out of it.
It’s brilliant.

BTW, I’ve always wondered, if the group gangbangs the Angel does everyone get the +1 Hx and the Angel gets +3 each?

Now I'm adding "it's an automatic TPK if you put me in a position where I'm expected to flirt with you."

When I was running at a convention, the players used a love potion on an NPC, the hostess of the party they had crashed, and it was surprisingly less awkward to play than I had expected. (They would have beaten the adventure, too, if one of the players at our table hadn't been arrested.)

What about the Filthy Sanchez or the Donkey Punch?

Those have become passe and everyone knows them already. They'd be lower-tiered, the Donkey Punch is mid-tier at best.

The Banner Elk Surprise is a regional curiosity that has a lot more potential as a joke technique....precisely because it's not ubiquitously known.

Yeah, they're called urban legends Doc, the kind of stuff frat boys make up to shock drinking buddies

Sex Moves are fine. I've played a couple/few sessions of AW and the sex moves added a fun layer to the interpersonal situation. I'm not super-interested in the kind of drama Monster Hearts is about, so... I dunno. It reminds me of a response I made during that #rpgaday Twitter challenge that had the prompt word of "Scary". Imagine you are playing one of these games. Which one is more likely to be scary?

Kult: Dark Horror RPG
Phoenix Command: Rules Heavy Gun Simulator Thing
Under My Skin: Romantic Relationship is Tested Story Game

Without a doubt, if played honestly, Under My Skin is much more likely to be the scary game for me (though it wouldn't necessarily be, it just could be). Phoenix Command might be daunting in some respects, possibly tiresome, but not scary. Kult... I dunno. The horror tropes are just plainly obvious and out in the open. It's a game with a made up cosmology that mentions a lot of awful horror things, but it's just so far removed from anything relate-able.

For me, the biggest risk in a game like that is that someone would not play it honestly and just jokes the whole time about the subject matter, or the idea of even playing with the subject matter. If you don't want to do the thing, don't show up at the game about doing the thing. Like, in a horror game, the person playing the normal teenager who is not phased at all by the appearance of the supernatural and turns into a SWAT member. Either that person has kinda ruined the night for everyone, or everyone just kinda forgets about the fictional reality and you all play your clear minded, professional tactical dungeon squad killing machine in a game that was trying to be something else.

Which to be fair, if is the intention of the whole group, can still be very fun. I'd love to run like an Umbrella Corp Resident Evil game

One of the themes of Apocalypse World (And apocalypse media) is that there's never enough of anything, so it turns anything that you do have or can offer into a commodity. Intimacy is something that everyone can offer.

BTW, I’ve always wondered, if the group gangbangs the Angel does everyone get the +1 Hx and the Angel gets +3 each?
Well, other than the Battlebabe, yeah. Sounds legit to me, the Angel ends up at +3 Hx with everyone. If it was an orgy, everyone's sex moves would trigger on each other. Complete chaos.

Conceivably, the Angel could fuck almost everyone to the level cap (Except the Battlebabe). They'd end up ludicrously rich from the Hardholder (And completely break the game's economy), lose all their secrets to the Brainer and the Savvyhead, give the Driver a complete crisis of confidence, actually make a genuine friend in the Operator, and then lose everything to the Skinner.

I'd also be inclined to pinch an actual sex move from The Warren, but referring to post-apocalypse wierdos rather than bunnies.
MATE

When you mate with another rabbit, take +1 ongoing to help/hinder that rabbit until you mate with someone else. If you are different genders, both of you hide zero or one die in your fist. On the count of three, open your hands—two dice means the doe is pregnant and she may give birth whenever it feels right.

In theory I am strongly in favour of the existence of Sex Moves in theory, on the principle of free expression and diversity of experience and all that good stuff.

However, I should admit that in the games I personally run, I'm such a freaking prude that I struggle manfully to find non-sexual applications of the Appearance attribute in Storyteller, because it's on the sheet so I need to offer a use for it but hell no we're not going there. Because I'd be mortified.

Looking good is good for first impressions. Once you open your mouth, it's all on you, but good looks will give you that opportunity.

Hm, I think they've stumbled on the world's newest profession

I don't see much difference between having mechanical effects on sex and on drinking vampire blood, but I don't like having fancy descriptions about either.
I also despise listening to ooc gratuitious sex jokes at my table.

That is more or less how I use it, yes. Charisma is for when you have time to make a speech, or for when you deal with people you've had a chance to make an impression on. Appearance is for when you need to convince a stranger to do what you want them to with a single sentence or less.

But again, there's no actual roleplaying a sex at the table, you're dealing with the emotional aftermath.
Or rather, the roleplaying of the sex wouldn't have mechanical consequences...

Sure, if you wanted to RP the actual sexing, you do you. Just, you know, please not at my table.
Rest assured, of course I wouldn't think of doing that on your table! I've got enough tables at home !

Another one I find interesting is the Turncoat's for Apocalypse World...

When you and another character have sex, you can request some favour from them as though you had rolled 10+ on a manipulation move. They also get -1Hx with you. Guess they don't know you as well as they thought.

The playbook theme is that of denying other charactes information while milking them for info yourself. If the Infernal is It Follows, this one is The Americans.
