Ok with the obvious clickbait out of the way let's get on to the truth of the matter.

All good Pubs have a trivia night. We don't even have a specific trivia thread!!(I think?!)

So here is the first trivia question. I ask. Someone answers. They either come up with a question or nominate someone who then accepts or nominates etc...

First question:

What RPG has the following 11 main characteristics
Craft, Dexterity , Talent, Voice, Intelligence, Prudence, Appearance, Agility, Strength, Constitution, Charisma

If by some miracle no one answers by Friday I'll answer and do a different question.

Which European nation borders Brazil? No fair Googling.

Here's another one

What company is the artist who did the cover art for Aftermath! better known for their association with?

If I was Argentinian I might be inclined to say Argentina, but more likely French Guyana, which is legally a part of France for some reason. I think it's a legacy of French law's origins in Roman law and I'm not 100% sure how this works, but some or all French territories are legally a part of France and their residents are French citizens.

Nobby-W Nobby-W's turn.

As the autocrat of this thread I demand it take a bias towards RPGs and RPG adjacent. Not exclusive since hey general knowledge is awesome but maybe keep it RPG useful if possible.

Given the range of topics that can be useful to RPGs this shouldn't be to onerous a dictate.

Failure to comply will result in A) a vigorous bellyrub B) me staying at your house with 4 small kids eating your food and writing on your walls.

Comply people you don't want my horde at your house.

Bob Charette illustrated it, but I only associate him with FGU. I think he works in miniatures nowadays but couldn't name a company so somebody else will have to tell us.

You're right actually. For some reason I though Kevin Simbeida had done it, but I must have had it conflated with something else.

In which product does a spell called Zed allow you to manipulate time (often to disastrous effect)?

It does look vaguely Siembiedaish, mainly in the dude's face and outfit. But I don't think he ever painted anything. All his pieces are drawings with possible comic coloration. Plus the terrain, especially the plants, don't look like anything like Siembieda's stuff. Siembieda's pieces are mostly just figures in whitespace, although early on he did do a few figures in a setting drawings. Maybe I'd see more of a resemblance if I'd seen more of Unca Kev's Judge's Guild pieces.

Name an actor that has hit the sci fi trifecta with appearances in Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who.

Simon Pegg but he wasn't in the real Star Trek, just Lensflare Trek.
We have a winner. The other being Deep Roy.

Guy Siner was in Trek, Babylon 5 and Who, plus voice work for Star Wars video games. He’s got the ummm, quadfecta?

That explains why I drew a blank on the second half...I was thinking maybe Ral Partha or Grenadier, but didn't think he was more strongly associated with them than Fantasy Games Unlimited, since FGU published so many of his games (Bushido, Daredevils, and Aftermath! come to mind). I guess FASA is a contender but outside of Shadowrun, which I've never read or played, I don't know what else he's done there.

Since FGU has featured prominently and that mean old taskmaster Bunch Bunch wants RPG trivia, new question: in what FGU game is it possible to roll up your character per the rules and end up unable to generate a character per the rules?

I'm going to guess that hot mess Space Opera. It has been a few decades, but we tried really hard to play it and never got past chargen.

It's Merc isn't it? It's entirely possible to roll stats low enough to not qualify for any Specialty

Which OD&D clone/spinoff uses only six sided dice where the one has been replaced with zero?
