_Delete Thread Pls

Best Selling RPGs - Available Now @ DriveThruRPG.com
As the Founder of Swo' , I know only too well the feelings one experiences with a thread-fall, and it's probably akin to being dacked at a high school assembly

So Jump On I say!

"_Delete thread Pls' could be part of a secret saying here, akin to a funny masonic handshake

In lieu of outrageous hats, perhaps we can sign off our sigs with "_dtpls' to indicate we now have inner mystery cult member status here?

Batdaf Batdaf please take this all in a sentiment of fun. This is in no way an attack on you or mocking you. We just really get a kick out of random thread tangents.

I wouldn't worry about it - only one post to The Pub, and it was an ad for an offsite gaming website thing

It's actually been pretty decent for me. Bad for the store but if I can get the revised government rent subsidy that may change. But on the whole it's meant some time off to finish up projects. On the other hand this particular week is easily in my top ten worst. So, maybe 2020's been saving up and the worst is ahead for me.

This year has been a mixed bag. As a contractor the job insecurity is pretty terrifying. On top of COVID we've got Brexit and New IR35. I have no idea what will happen beyond the end of my current contract. For this and other reasons we're moving the base of operations back to Indonesia.

The Fam have moved back so I'm by myself here. The costs have come down significantly so I should be able to catch up with lost income due to COVID. Insurance as a sector isn't entirely recession-proof but for commercial enterprises it's a compliance cost and not optional so it may be OK-ish. I can't really tell - if it really goes to shit I may hole up in Indonesia for a year or two.

There’s going to be a Savage Worlds streaming one shot called Better Off Undead with the director of this (Savage Steve Holland - suitably appropriate) and Diane Franklin.

It's too bad Savage Steve and John Cusak had a falling out...

My life hasn't changed much, I'm just not being made to feel bad by society for being a misanthropic shut-in

I mean I've worked from home for the last 8 years and only left the house to go out to eat. Literally the only thing that has changed is that people don't come over for game nights and I order delivery instead of going to restaurants.

That and my kids and wife are both around more.

Oddly though, I get a lot more desire to go out when I know I don't need to...

On the plus side I was able to duck out of the super extended family Thanksgiving thing this year without anyone judging me.
