I was trapped by myself in an elevator in my work building. It was 6 P.M. on a Friday night, I was leaving work for the day, with plans for the weekend... when all of the sudden, the elevator just stopped. I was stuck in it for about a hour and 20 minutes.
I worked as a mover one summer. These movers liked to work long days. Their goal was to be getting overtime as soon as they could on Wednesday for a work week starting Monday. So I started at 6am worked all day loading up a truck. Around 11pm we were taking the elevator down to get in the truck and oh the elevator breaks. Me and three other movers in this elevator for an hour and a half. They were so happy because this was just adding to their hours and they could take a nap.

I was once stuck in a lift for 45 minutes because one of the cleaners joined me in there and didn't notice that he was dragging his vacuum cleaner cord behind him. It was still in the door when we started moving.

There was a Subway I used to drive past regularly that had a sign that briefly said "Dine Here!" Then one day it said "Di e Here!", then the next day "DiNe Here!" and the day after "Di e Here!" again. I called it the War of the N.
I find it somewhat amusing that the staff at that Subway were very lax about masks, so in theory you would risk potentially getting the virus by dining there.

Ah yes, the Western Washingtonian Motto.
