3 Billy's, not bad.Yay! I restructured my gaming shelves. I was afraid everything wasn't going to fit, but there's still a little bit of room left to expand the collection...

About 7 shelves are actual RPGs. 4 Shelves of board games and one that has various stuff. The third Billy on just outside the pic doesn't contain any gaming materials. We could do with a few more shelves for future RPG and boardgame purchases and Kickstarter deliveries.3 Billy's, not bad.
I assure you the landlord repaired all leaks some time before those shelves were put there.3rik Though that water stain above the books makes me nervous. After losing so much due to water damage I'm always twitchy when I see what might be a leak. Nice collection as an aside.
Don't landlords replace damaged ceiling panels any more?I assure you the landlord repaired all leaks some time before those shelves were put there.
He replaced most of them...Don't landlords replace damaged ceiling panels any more?
He replaced most of them...
Seems a bit like a surgeon repairing most of your arteries. He replaced most of them...
I don't know. If you replace the stained ceiling tiles, how do you know where all the leaks are so you can place buckets around the house to catch them?Seems a bit like a surgeon repairing most of your arteries.
I was assuming, perhaps foolishly, that the landlord corrected the source of the problem first.I don't know. If you replace the stained ceiling tiles, how do you know where all the leaks are so you can place buckets around the house to catch them?
As a real estate agent, I take a more cynical view.I was assuming, perhaps foolishly, that the landlord corrected the source of the problem first.
Please, don't trigger my leak-related PTSD. We've been in a situation that was literally like that for quite some time... There are no leaks now and there haven't been since we got a new landlord who worked his ass off fixing a lot of the stuff wrong with this sorry excuse for an apartment.I don't know. If you replace the stained ceiling tiles, how do you know where all the leaks are so you can place buckets around the house to catch them?
Certified spittingimage Baulderstone There are no leaks, but some of the stained panels weren't replaced.

The one before him clearly couldn't handle being a landlord, to the point where you'd feel sorry for him; you could see he was trying but clearly in over his head. And before him the situation was... kind of shady.
Aren’t you in one of those Scandinavian paradises? It sounds like you’re in Camden, NJ.Certified spittingimage Baulderstone There are no leaks, but some of the stained panels weren't replaced.

Why did you jump into it? These days even I know what's behind the green devil's face! Our long running 5e campaign came to an ignominious end at The Tomb of Horrors... 3 PCs jumped into the green devil face, mine lost a hand to it and left to follow a path of hook-handed piracy. THE END.
I suspect our GM is just going through the motions these days...
Absolutely love this !!!!!!
I didn't jump into it... the others did.Why did you jump into it? These days even I know what's behind the green devil's face!
OK, that game wasn't much fun now, I suspect...how did your poor Referee take it?I didn't jump into it... the others did.
The first guy in really didn't know what it did... but the others knew.
So it was pretty much a group suicide due to lack of enthusiasm... and not wanting to meta-game.
He seemed fine with it... after all, he was the one who set us up to go to TOH....how did your poor Referee take it?
I'm not in your group, but my first thought is "you might want to ask him whether he's not about to get burned out".He seemed fine with it... after all, he was the one who set us up to go to TOH.
I suspect he's bored as well... but is too invested in 5e to run something different (or to run 5e differently), and doesn't seem too inviting about letting others run the game for a while.
… while fidgeting with a torch and pitchfork.ask him whether he's not about to get burned out".
Yeah, sorry about the typo.Absolutely love this !!!!!!
(PS: BTW you missed the 'c' when you spelt 'Mankcam')
Got a shelfie?I can't think of anything else from my game collection that I actually want to run.
Note the greatest shelfies but:Got a shelfie?
So...Ring World? Elf Quest? Sorcerer?Note the greatest shelfies but:
Also, this list of games I own:

Nah, just The Netherlands. The housing market here is fucked so lots of people are stuck in apartments or houses that are... suboptimal.Aren’t you in one of those Scandinavian paradises? It sounds like you’re in Camden, NJ.

Several reasons. The result: houses absurdly expensive and way too few of them being built. How did that come to be?
I'm sending that this is a general problem. Waves of people are picking the same area at the same time and then finding out the local supply didn't predict them coming all at the same time. No city can handle that and you end up with homelessness and appreciating housing prices. Everyone wants some instant solution but you just can't currently make housing magically appear. I could see things like 3d printed houses making them appear and order of magnitude faster but I don't think we're really there yet.Several reasons. I think we're getting close though.I could see things like 3d printed houses making them appear and order of magnitude faster but I don't think we're really there yet.
