The amount of energy taken to generate this much drama is mind boggling. I can barely do the laundry.

The man has a gift. Not for running a company, and not for legal matters, but... a gift. The amount of energy taken to generate this much drama is mind boggling. I can barely do the laundry.
I struggle to spoon badly cooked rice into my mouth some days. This shit is ridiculous. There was another thing I was going to say, but in the interests of well, stuff, I won't. Suffice to say it's goddamn weird. The amount of energy taken to generate this much drama is mind boggling. I can barely do the laundry.
Goodman or Frog God having it would be good. WotC having it means the absolute best thing that could happen is nothing. Also, if I've read it right (and I'm not sure I have) they're demanding the Dungeon Hobby Shop website.
Oh god, please let that be the case.
LaNasa doxxed Tenkar's mom and tried to doxx his wife, according to Tenkar. I don't always agree with Tenkar, but he does not strike me as a BSer.
He did have employees wrestle in grits. . .so, seems on brand to me.
Yeah, true. But there's a special level of hell for someone who'd go after someone else's mother. That's sacred territory, right there.
Hammer wasn't really known for having a sense of humor about his momma..."But it was a play on words and it was F-ing Dope!"
Yeah, I gotta give this guy props for that. He wasn't really dissing Hammer's mom.
I suspect it is because of paragraph 45 in their counterclaim as LaNasa signed a statement before the USPTO. That comes with it's own fines and penalties I understand that are separate from Wizard's case. Lastly, Davis Wright are big guns. The Wizards filing, via TBP.
Notably, they're going for LaNasa by name as well as company. How common is that in US courts?
(They're ignoring Ernie entirely, probably wisely. If Ernie has the capacity for self reflection he should be very glad that LaNasa's fuckwittery hasn't rebounded on him legally, but I'm not convinced he does on current evidence).
Pretty sure that would be spoliation and illegal, almost a certain way to lose your case. They should be scrubbing all theevidencesocial media remarks, for sure.
I found a clip about LaNasa and his struggles against Wizards of the Coast
Bottom line up front: We're called Solarian Games now. All of our products are still for sale at the new website https://solariangames.com/
In a twist - new TSR (publishers of Top Secret) has jumped off the train.
Yes, but I figured I'd post it in this thread. Reading that, they saw the challenges and said 'NOPE!'But that's the old new TSR right? Not nu New Tar.

Well, I don't know why they just posted an update. I got the update because I had the misfortune to back Top Secret. That's old news, though. AFAIK, they rebranded in July 2021 : https://www.geeknative.com/132861/tsr-games-2-rebrands-to-solarian-games/
Could be dude curates his feed so only friends see it... No one reports it, well...Ugh, I made the mistake of following the links in the links.
Even though I "know" people like this exist, I'm always caught off-guard when I actually encounter them, like I've stepped into some strange timewarp.
Legit feel a bit naseous.
I'm not sure they needed it, but that's definitely the final nail in nuTSR's coffin. I just wonder if Ernie is going to be able to extricate himself from this, with his already questionable comments.
PS - I thought stuff like that wasnt allowed on Twitter? Like I keep hearing stories of how certain groups are getting censored on that platform, so how can this guy just post dozens of the most vile bigoted and flat out Nazi memes?
Twitter is like law enforcement in many other places: You don't get punished for committing a crime, you get punished for being obvious about it.PS - I thought stuff like that wasnt allowed on Twitter? I think that ship sailed a long time ago. He apparently doesn’t have the necessary judgement about who he chooses as business associates.I just wonder if Ernie is going to be able to extricate himself from this, with his already questionable comments.

In my experience, the dweeby neo-nazi's are trying to project an image of a intellectual or upstanding citizen. They're trying to project the image that their ideology is legitimate and that they have a clean nose (think like a 50's business man). Getting them talking about their ideas in public and they try and keep a modicum of restraint (i.e. not shouting, using terms like "urban", etc.). Whenever they feel that there is a shield between them and others, the dweeb will shed the facade and tell you what they really think. Basically they try and camouflage themselves to fit in better with society and get into positions of power.I can see his tweets so that's not it. Sad truth is there are so many of these neo-nazis and far right bots on Twitter that most just block them and even when reported most of the time nothing happens to them.
Oh and why is it that these guys either look like this, aka. complete dweebs or conversely liked roided-up bikers?

PS. Can you imagine spending your free time obsessively posting that shit on Twitter? Wtf?

Simple: twitter doesn't actually give a shit. It's not uncommon to see tweets of blatant breaches of twitter's rules, up to and including both doxxing and direct and plausible threats of assault, which their reporting feature returns as perfectly acceptable. A lot of what the alleged twitter account posts is also stuff that's got enough plausible deniability that it's safe to post, and is heavily steeped in dog whistles - things which look innocuous to the general public, but to people who actually understand them, they have clear and distinct meanings.PS - I thought stuff like that wasnt allowed on Twitter? Twitter's enforcement is remarkably Medieval. it depends on who you are. If you have a blue checkmark next to your name, you are basically untouchable and can be as horrid as you want to the peasants without repercussion.PS - I thought stuff like that wasnt allowed on Twitter? If only it was mediaveal. You could get a choice of wearing a scold's bridle, having your nose split or paying the church to pray away your transgression.Twitter's enforcement is remarkably Medieval. it depends on who you are. Yeah, this and two other threads almost make me long for a frank discussion about the Grappling rules. Almost...I sat here for a full minute, fingers hovering over the keys, and then had to admit that nothing that I really wanted to say about this was going to be appropriate for the Pub. Ugh.
