I am way late bringing this to you, but Green Ronin is having a warehouse sale. They've been picked over pretty thoroughly, but they're up to 75% off of what's left. I picked up the Fantasy and Modern AGE core rulebooks for under $30 including shipping.

I think it had already been mentioned in the thread before, so you're not late  That's how I found out.

Oh, huh. Didn't realize the sale had been going on since before the 4th. No wonder they've been picked clean.

Video game adaptation of the RPG/Boardgame/House size box of stuff Gloomhaven is FREE right now on Epic store.

You'll need an account but otherwise save £27, or (at the current crappy exchange rate) $27 and change or something like that.

Certainly cheaper than the boardgame which cost me about £120 or so, and is currently testing the structural limits of not only an Ikea bookcase but the floor and the foundations of the house, it's that heavy.

Have you seen the OGRE Kickstarter box by chance?

(randomly grabbed boxes of other games shown for comparison)

If it's anything like Gloomhaven I suspect my back, wallet, shelves and floorboards will thank me for passing on it :crossed:

I take it OGRE is the future tank game from the early 80s, redone? I wasn't into wargames back then but a couple of friends were, and had a house big enough to accommodate some huge play areas with fancy scenery and so on. I must admit I fancy the idea of a wargame in a box that I can play with my son, probably something fantasy/medieval based. I have a game called warrior knights but that looks like there's a lot of moving parts (assuming they are all in there - bought off ebay 2nd hand) and game of thrones but my son is 12 so I don't want to scare him off with rules. Something that lines one side up against another and hacks them into mince should be a nice easy start I would think... He has zero interest in sport so Bloodbowl is out

Not me just someone off the internet. It's the largest boxed game I own.

Fria Ligan's prices will be increasing on Wednesday because of currency adjustments - prices are pretty impressive right now on a variety of items.

Hello everyone!

To celebrate Spooktober, I am putting my DnD 5e Gothic Horror Campaign Module on sale (25% off). It was previously 19.99, now it's 14.99.
Link: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/360794/Ravenloft-Realm-of-the-Blood-Queen?term=blood+queen

It is a massive module, with 379 pages of demented ideas, brutal combat, and lots of advice to help craft a more player-centric horror experience. If you're a fan of Curse of Strahd, Warhammer Fantasy, or dark fantasy, and you enjoy DnD, then this book was written for you!

You can also check out a free sample (technically Pay What you Want, but feel free to put 0.00), here:

Sure you got that number right? Also, welcome to the Pub. :drink:

If anyone else is an Amazon Prime member, they have those D&D Campaign Cases (D&D colorforms style terrain and creasures) on Early Access sale for almost half off.
Ordered the creatures and it arrived today. Fairly nifty. Now if they just release expansions to this.

I had picked up the terrain at my LGS when they got it in.

Wicked Ones Deluxe Edition is free until the end of the month.

A Forged in the Dark Game, heavily inspired by Dungeon Keeper, where you run the evil overlords of a dungeon.

On a first skim, it's really quite impressive. Definitely at the crunchier end of FITD, but with a lot of potential

I got in on this and the new Kickstarter for not needing a dungeon and working overland with an undead focus. There's also an expansion for War for the Overworld video game.

I don't think anyone's posted this yet:
Battletech
To boost this a little, for $1 you get the Alpha Strike Commanders book which I believe is the complete rules for Alpha Strike the fast play Battletech.
For $30+shipping you get I think most of the current release books and a physical starter box.

TristramEvans TristramEvans I summon thee to verify my claims! I offer the blood of a cyber goat (flat Mt. Dew) and sacred grains (flaming cheetos)

You've basically got all of the complete mechanics rules between the three books Total Warfare, Battletech Manual and Alpha Strike Commanders Edition. The only thing missing for rules from what I can tell is the role-playing game versions. Catalyst doesn't make it easy, they're all over the place with multiple books covering the same or similar mechanics. I've grown to really loathe them as a company, the make old FASA look utilitarian, coherent and professional in comparison. It's quite frustrating and annoying. Their website suck hind teat as well whether its Shadowrun or BattleTech that your looking into.

Holiday sale for Cha'alt books! Grandma needs her eldritch, gonzo, science-fantasy, post-apocalypse fix...

My offerings must have been unworthy. I will sacrifice myself to the slovenly god's. Suicide by years of cheeseburgers it is!
