Same. I really didn’t like it when my nose was rubbed in it in clan books, either.
I happily switched when they did nWoD/Chronicles of Darkness. I don’t like a huge, sprawling plot to my personal horror games.
Would someone help me out with parsing this? I don’t follow Palladium (I have no hate or anything, they just don’t publish much I care about). How is Cyberworks a benchmark here?
I wonder if there will actually be revisions or if most of this is a straight reprint. The press release reads as if it’s going to be a collection of the old books and a bunch of nostalgia and expository pieces about the game as it was.
I’m gonna follow the KS and see what develops
That’s because my last post was a threat.
8. Fairy Ring
On the western side of a hill is a ring of mushrooms, the first breaking rays of the full moon illuminate that ring once a month, turning it into a friendly looking wooden door. This entrance is unguarded and the door is slightly ajar...
Excuse me everyone, but by law this is not allowed to leave the front page without being completed. I am disappointed in all of you for allowing this to happen. Next time, I’ll have to call the police.
7. The Rope Bridge
You’ve seen the fissure in the earth gaping from a distance. It is known to be bottomless, it’s sheer walls leading down towards inky blackness.
Across the 25 meter distance is a rope bridge. It cannot bear too much weight, the wood staves at the bottom look warped and...
George RR Martin is a long time TTRPG gamer and credited GURPS as his favorite system. There’s a rumor that Song of Ice and Fire was based on a college GURPS game.
Also, I have mad respect for an author who cashes out and then just enjoys his hot tubs full of money.
That’s not true, they PCs can be Shamans or even Skinless. That assuming you’re only using natives.
By description, the Shamans work almost exactly like wizards in DCC with a patron and whatnot.
So, for those who don’t know, GURPS Fantasy II: Adventures in the Mad Lands, is one of the wildest, weirdest settings to come out in 1992.
I hadn’t read it in ages, but flipped through it the other day, rueing the fact that I’d never been able to run it. This is especially true because it’s...
I generally prefer the apes as antagonists. The scenarios are highly dependent on what sort of ape world you have. You can have uplifted apes escape from a zoo or facility, or you can have ape soldiers find talking humans on patrol, or alien apes invading earth, or apes of an ancient order...
