I was hoping you could help me decide among all these great pulp games!

I'd highly recommend HEX and any (or all its source books). Great system and you can do loads with the setting even of you don't want to play in the Hollow Earth itself. :)

    RPG GM's and Storytellers

As far as I'm concerned they are pretty much the same thing. Storyteller was just a fancier way of of saying GM. For me, WoD was just another traditional(ish) RPG. I guess story games are just an off-shoot of RPGs. But I tend to prefer more old school stuff, tbh. I wouldn't play without a GM...

Wow! That dude is so talented. Thanks for posting.

Are you an Escapist or Explorer?

If I have the definition right I'd say I'm an explorer. But that may be because I like my games to be more grounded and relatable. I'm very fond of satirical work or work that mirrors our own reality but with that layer of "What if". So I like to explore the human condition in new or interesting...

    The Elephant and Macaw Banner

I really like it as a game. A bit of an underrated gem sadly. But I'm obsessed with anything that is slightly pirate or set in the south American jungles.

Using Dr. Fu Manchu as a campaign villain.

I gotta' say, I love Fu Manchu as a villain mainly because I saw him in those old movies. And he's one tricky SOB. :)

Simon Bisley's Cover for Terminus.!!!!!! :)

Yeah man, it's very cool. :) I was delighted with it as it captured exactly what I wanted (basically the evil and elite golem police force in the city). I just hope I can do that cover justice! lol

    No Art Game

Art is the 'icing on the cake' but it's not technically necessary. I would buy a book without art if it was very good. However, art is a big draw for me because it basically sets out what the game is immediately and then fires my imagination making me want to play the game. :) There is some...

Simon Bisley's Cover for Terminus.!!!!!! :)

Bisley's cover arrived in yesterday for my game Terminus for FASERIPopedia. I'm so pleased with it. Apologies for the watermark Boss wanted me to put one in.

Anyone have ideas on their perfect game system?

I think the problem that games are often genre or even character play specific. So perfect is too broad for me. Also I don't believe perfection can exist in games but my closest would be (so far): FASERIP WFRP 1e (modified). WFRP 2e VtM 2e (modified). D6 D100 (of some kind) DC Megs Certain...

Mod+ How does religion make sense in a D&D-like setting?

Maybe I'm too traditional in my fantasy games but I can't conceive of a fantasy game without religion. Probably because it would be loosely based on how our world evolved with religion and why it was conceived int he first place. Humans basically looking for answers, explanations and a fear of...
