    Apocalypse hits too close to home for the blaze of glory to feel good. In Masquerade you and all the other fictional vamps deserve a personal apocalypse, but the environment is getting shit on in real life and doesn't deserve it.

    But in Forsaken you get to be a badass who makes a difference until you hopefully hand the world over to the next generation of badasses. There is a future and it has a chance of being decent. Not utopian, but not Wyrm-hell either.
