I'm not familiar with the original version of this song, but I like this cover:
I like all of Robyn A's Songs and renditions. So you found a good cover.

Here you go. I find most of Amy Lee's songs and those of the band to be intriguing lyrically and the videos challenging.

Waggakki Band did this song with her as well...

Oh finally found it....

(And some other songs as well, but you can go find those...)

As usual, "moving" in a slightly different direction:

This popped up today. The theme from Mirror's Edge. (Should I post this in the Cyberpunk thread?)

This appeared in my flow a couple of times over the week. When I was going to post it here, I could not find it. For days. Here we are - stumbled over -
This song is most excellent... The Video is top notch. P Stelar always tries to do great videos.

A guy made some Dwarf Fortress inspired music:

Koganusan, by Simon Swerwer

Danger room, by Simon Swerwer

I used to hate jazz. Am I old now?

No. Your musical tastes have improved and you have become more discriminatory. I went from "sure, what ever is on the radio" to becoming an audiophile in my early 20s. Then all of a sudden, mid 20s, I liked Jazz and Jazz Fusion (and electronica instrumentals). I could appreciate it. (I also came to appreciate big band, ska, and music of various different types and eras). It is just a point of development. It is not age, it is the time listening to music and appreciating musical craft. (Most of my friends caught up about twenty to thirty years later)

Might I recommend looking for music by Casiopea? There may be some posts with their songs up thread.

Flipping through some older pieces. I need to figure out a better archival system. Never gonna happen, but hey, gotta have a to-do list.

I think you and your new-found awareness might find this amusing. And the rest of you too.

I mostly only enjoy older, more melodic styles of jazz, say upto the 1940s.

I was once told by my father that I would start enjoying classical music once I got old(er), but I'm still only into a small number of very specific pieces. It's not that I dislike everything, it just doesn't do much for me. Oh well, I was also told that I would want children once I got older... hasn't happened yet.
