    Golden Heroes: New Hope

Starchild, impressed with Gravitas and Trident, feels somewhat foolish that he wasn't able to do more to help. But, in the end, he realizes that he should just be grateful for the good that has been done.

    Weirdest RPGs evah

Looks like there was an adventure in White Wolf magazine, and another in a German mag called Abenteuer.

    Talislanta: The Savage Lands

I heard that if you Google "gurptal.doc", it's in the first result. It's complete, but lacks art. It's just a finished manuscript. It's cool, though. When asked if he had the original, an rpgnet poster who worked on it had the following to say:

    Weirdest RPGs evah

Pandemonium! seems like a fun "in-between" game. Fun fact: it was written by Stephan Michael Sechi, of Talislanta fame. Chill 1e has the same sort of horror/humor vibe, but Pandemonium is more rules-lite. Edit: taking a fresh look at it, the base mechanic for Pandemonium! seems somewhat similar...

    Talislanta: The Savage Lands

It's a shame that there wasn't a GURPS version of The Savage Land. Especially since there is already an (aborted) GURPS Talislanta, the completed manuscript for which has been floating around online for years. I mean, while they were doing different versions, it probably wouldn't have been hard...

    Talislanta: The Savage Lands

Not trying to hijack this TSL thread, but what's the deal with Cyclopedia Talislanta, vols. II-VI? Thet haven't been put online, like the other stuff. I have read that is due to rights issues, anybody j=know how accurate that is?

IP's that ought to have their own RPGs

A Smurfs RPG for kids. Rules light, with a single "stat", i.e., "Jokey", or "Fraidy", which is also the character's name. Heavy emphasis on teamwork, problem solving, etc.

Ever used one game's mechanics to run a different game's setting? If so, what game(s), and why?

I've thought about running GURPS Supers stuff with Golden Heroes rules. The character attributes map one-to-one, more or less, with a similar range, and extrapolating the powers and the rest from there would be a snap, I think. There just aren't a lot of GH adventures, and I'm kind of lazy.

    Villains and Vigilantes

I have heard that Mighty Protectors is somewhat polarizing. What changes were made to the Villains & Vigilantes rules?

    Talislanta: The Savage Lands

I'm kind of surprised there isn't more pbp Talislanta play. System seems simple enough that it would be well suited for online play. What's your favorite edition and why?

Ever used one game's mechanics to run a different game's setting? If so, what game(s), and why?

I'd love to see Cold Iron, if you're at Liberty to share it. Reminds me of a friend who went to Purdue, and said that there was a homebrew there that they all played exclusively once they started: http://www.aquest.com/jaern.htm I played once, but didn't dig the random race/appearance...

As long as none of the typos affect playability, I won't be losing any sleep over it.

DunGen.app - high resolution Dungeon Generator

This is pretty bitchin'. I'm lazy af and rarely make my own adventures because of it. I can see using this to generate dungeons I will stock with monsters and neat stuff. Thanks!

[Kickstarter] Mercenaries, Spies & Private Eyes

Overall the PDF is awesome. Most satisfactory. A few hiccups, as BigJackBrass pointed out. Can't wait to get my hands on the softcover.

    Talislanta: The Savage Lands

I see that The Savage Land is supposed to be compatible with Talislanta 5th Edition. How compatible is that with 4th? Or even earlier editions, for that matter? Basically, what is the edition back-compatibility for Talislanta in general? Edit: never mind, I'm dumb. Savage Land looks cool, so...
