If Heaven ain't like New Jersey, I don't wanna go
If Heaven ain't like New Jersey, I'd just as soon stay home
If they don't have a beach shore boardwalk like they do in Asbury
Just send me to Hell or the Roanoke Valley, it'd be about the same to me
Also, geese are bastards.
I'd chalk that up to his background in medieval wargaming and history. I dunno.
Fair point. By most accounts, Arneson was more of an "idea guy" who could come up with a good outline for the game but Gygax would refine it into a more workable form.
I ask the question since there's been a lot...
This has been a very interesting thread to read so far.
Now, here's a question I'm wanting to ask...
What would D&D have looked like if Dave Arneson kept creative control?
You know that whole "He Does It For Free" 4chan copypasta?
Yeah, I'd imagine it's something similar to that for Big Purple
But enough about Big Purple, the Pub is the best community for our hobby out there. At least all the ones I've been to.
My fiancé and I are using our free time to finally convert Vampire: The Requiem to Big Eyes Small Mouth and so far, we're making good progress on our rough draft. We're starting with BESM 1E since it's simpler and we'll do some playtesting in March and April if all goes well.
I was one of the first to join here. Not been as active as I should, mainly because I've been either focusing on school or actually playing RPG's with my IRL friends and significant other as well.
Currently working on a Let's Read and I've been typing it up on a Word Document. Gonna have it fully completed and once that's all good and set to go, I'll make the thread. From there, it'll be a basic copy and paste.
I want to get as much of the drafts done before January 10th.
