Awrsome thank you!
I used it during the pandemic to run Stonehell in pf2e. I had time to make the maps then. Switched back to bad drawings on battlements when we went back to in person gaming.
I'm about to run this for my group and my will be my 11 year olds first game, having nice maps to put up on the TV would save everyone from my terrible map drawing.
Isn't "Everyday Heroes" a more modern version of D20 Modern? I think it's 5e based.
I haven't read or it or researched in anyway but I did see it on the shelf at my LGS...which for the purposes of internet debates makes me an expert I guess.
I agree with all of this...it's the blank stares from players who are asked to do simple math like divide by 2 (or god help you 3) that puts me off fractional difficulty levels and why I use the simplified modifiers when possible.
TNE was my first Traveller. I loved it, playing in the post-apocalyptic ruins appealed to me and I bought it blind just off the text on the back of the box.
This lead me to Twilight 2000 v2.2 which was the same system. Used both of those to run a Living Steel campaign.
The skill list was...
If you like Cepheus/Traveller there's "Rider" from Independence Games
Also there's "Western Hero" from Hero games - the recent one is a self contained game.
And of course there's always:
I was a big fan of "After Man" by Dougal Dixon and his follow up book on if dinosaurs had not been wiped out. Used it for a school presentation on evolution long ago.
I think there was a tv documentary on After Man as well.
Hero is far from my favourite system, not as far as GURPS though! Not many classless fantasy games on my shelf and none that are roll high AND classless.
Savage Worlds I think is the only other one on my shelf that would fit.
Fantasy Hero? It's classless, roll high for effect. Skill system is normally roll under but is easy enough to switch to roll high which we did for our last campaign.
I got the Kobo Elipsa, it's OK if you install the 3rd party KOreader app.
The default pdf reader is too hard to navigate but KOreader let's you set it to read by column. But it's a pain to reference multiple areas of a book.
I wouldn't recommend for RPG PDF's unless you also read a lot of...
SInce I needed some pregens I went hunting...here are 6 from the author himself.

We are running a donation drive this month to help offset the costs of running the Pub and to avoid running intrusive ads in the future. If you would like to help out please visit this thread for more details. Thank you!
