I just bought a two gravity-feed boxes of Marvel Dicemasters:

The cards are very curved. So warped that they won't forma stackable deck. Is there a way to flatten them out?
I'm considering purchasing Dungeon of the Mad Mage, but I'd probably won't run it with 5E. Which made me wonder how it compared to the previous versions of the same subject matter. At least I assume these have the same subject matter.
For 4th Edition, there's Halls of Undermountain, but at 96...
I never thought I'd be interested in Star Trek again, or consider GM-ing it. I've got a DS9 game in mind. Here's some options I know of, in alpha order. Any others? If you've used one of these (or something else) let me know how it went.
Cepheus Trek: I saw a PDF of a Trek game using the...
Was this a result of the server switch? I liked the square style better. Not terribly important in the grand scheme of things, but is there any chance of going back?
Has anyone published a "D20 Modern" using the 5E chassis?
How would you do it? Would you keep the ability-based classes (Strong Hero, Fast Hero, etc.) or design occupation-based classes (Soldier, Doctor, Engineer, etc.)?
How would you handle firearms? Martial arts? Wealth?
For some strange reason, science-fiction RPGs never got their due with the groups I've gamed with, maybe getting shoved aside for Star Wars games instead. There have been a few Traveller games, but always only one shots. In the meantime, I peruse gear books and think of campaigns for someday...
I've never played either one of these, but I'd like to start. Both games seem to be the type where you adjust the numbers on the base when the guys take damage. Before I invest in either, let me know the merits and flaws of each. Which do you prefer?

Introduction
One of the things on my bucket list is to create a LOTR rpg using the heavily modded version of the OWOD rules. This may be a pointless project in the practical sense, since I own The One Ring, the Decipher version, and the ICE version, but I'm doing it for the fun of creating...
I have both. Should I go straight to 3, or play 2 first?
Is 2 worth it? I hear rave reviews about 3, but not much (good or bad) about 2.
If I go straight to 3, is there a backstory or history from 2 that I'm missing?
I've always like Hit Points, especially the 3.5 implementation, where you're Dying at -1 and Dead at -10. With the caveat that more than 30 HP tends to stretch my believability meter. (I like low-level play, but that's a topic for another post.)
On the other hand, Wound Levels were a lot of...
I'm trying to create a skill list for my Traveller heartbreaker. The goal is to keep the list to around 30 skills, so a lot of stuff has to go. I have a skill called Profession/* which is used for misc skills. These skills come from many different systems. Feedback welcome!

According to Wikipedia:
"In 2007 Holistic Design licensed Fading Suns to RedBrick, and in 2012 the license passed to FASA Games, Inc, which released a revised edition of Fading Suns later that year."
If memory serves, there was more to the story. The lead designer created a bunch of new...
