Yeah, I really think it comes down to just allowing a single person to have a certain amount of items on them at a certain time. It's much better than tracking weight.
When I start my games we come up with a group premise that everyone makes their characters around.
"Spies in a foreign fantasy kingdom"
We build what the people of our kingdom are like, and what the kingdom we're infiltrating is like.
"We come from a druidic/shamanism culture that has gone...
Too many skills for me, but I'm planning on trying it too. I'm probably going to try Delta Green or Call of Cthulu first. I looked at M-Space it looked interesting. Mythras seemed a bit high crunch for me, whereas I'm a Low/Medium crunch GM.
I don't think my progression focused player would...
I really wish I could. I've read basically all of the generic systems, played quite a few, and I hate them all. I would love to play a bunch of different settings all in the same system, and never have to learn new mechanics again. That's the dream.
I really only play fantasy / horror...
Haven't played it, but people say good things about the Sword of Cepheus. It's a skill-based system with no restrictive careers. Hope this helps! It's based on the traveller system.

Let me know if you think this works!
I've included both versions for comparison, which looks better?
Thanks for all the help so far. It has been invaluable.
Okay, I'll try that tonight! I thought about using tables, but it felt a little funky trying to get the other tables working.
I'm very new to layout (this is my first project), so this stuff is super useful :) I'm not sure I want to change the spacing, and font sizes for this project, but...
Hi,
I'm running into a lot of issues with the layout in the vocation section. I'm not sure how to layout the individual vocations. It just doesn't look very good to have them floating like that.
Any suggestions?
I'm using affinity publisher.
Thanks :)
Yeah, I once played in a Pathfinder 2e game, and figured out the killer almost instantly. It was pretty unfortunate haha.
I still had a lot of fun though :)
I mostly GM, so I try to put interesting mysteries in my games. I really need to run Delta Green.
So Human Trafficking is often through grooming, and not kidnapping. So they basically groom girls as young as 12 (but usually around 16). They're usually girls from the same country they're being trafficked in, but that's not always the case.
Sometimes they get them involved by getting them...
Ive worked mostly in Major Crimes (Murders, etc), Anti Human Trafficking, and Cybercrime.
I'm not sure if I can think of anything specific that I'm allowed to talk about. People are as bad as you think they are, haha.
I think delta green's bonds mechanic is aces. That's exactly what happens...
So many xNFPs in this forum!
