I love Mouse Guard. Very tabletop gamey feeling, with moment to moment resolution for different types of conflicts framed like “combat”. It captures the rangers tropes in their struggle for survival.

Currently, I'm running Veins of the Earth (LotFP). I prepare this way:
Generate 1-2 random cave systems.
Think about the name and structure generated.
Write down some "rooms" and things they could find in those caves.
Study a couple of creatures and treasures consistent...
I love to have TRPG books, I know I won't run them all, but it's just like to have art / coffe table books.
To have them is a joy in itself. To read them is even better. And to play them is the ultimate experience.
