Never expected this to still be a thing. And nobody used it as an excuse for a barrage of fish puns either! So why am I 'floundering'? Cos S2 is absolutely laughably bad? S1? Great, really bought into Richson as Reacher, and they picked a decent story which let the cast work well together...

Wiki entry suggests struggling in mud. I always imagined the humble flounder as one of the less dextrous fish. Pretty low Cha as well TBH.
