    Kickstarters Thread

Not quite out yet....but getting darn close...figured the thread had 'hype' in it, so why not. I'm hoping by the end of July/beginning August for the Kickstarter to help with commissioned art costs. Just waiting on a few small things first. But Prince of Nothing and I worked on Red Prophet...

Thanks Tommy for your time and honest review on one of our very first releases!

    AD&D Second Edition

I don't think they ran a Kickstarter for it. Mostly stock art (which I'm not a huge fan of the art, but I get it). I don't know all the details, but I think some volunteers had to pick it up and take it to the finish line...then like everyone disappeared and they barely promoted it. Chris...

City supplements - what's out there?

Was close for City of Vermilion, but a failed kickstarter. I got pulled off to another project, but definitely plan to revisit someday and make it even bigger. If you are interested in a city "mega-dungeon" or more appropriately, a city where you can pull out dungeons (mini, medium, and big...

    AD&D Second Edition

Man...loving the creative energy over here! I wish there was some of this type of discussion going on at the For Gold & Glory (2e retroclone) facebook page. It's like they wrote it all up in one book, dropped it on the table,...then disappeared. At least it makes it easy to publish with, but...

    AD&D Second Edition

I loved 2e. I was always jealous of the DM because they could always "play" when not with a group. Play= writing, prepping adventures, etc. With 2e, I felt like a player could "play" without a group as well due to all the cool stuff to read with kits...it was fun for me just to make different...

Tell us about something good that you got recently

I'm excited to read Lost Treasures of Atlantis next week while on vacation. I plan to grab a copy of this eventually: Castle Xyntillan--looks interesting. And although it's sorta a hack fest, I really loved the massive cavern ideas that Huso brings in Geir Loe Cyn-crul.

My battle with Scribus was legendary

I still use PagePlus. I'm TRYING to get into the Affinity program. It's GOING to be awesome...it's just a little different and I'm still comfy with Page Plus and I always seem to be in a hurry...so just need some time to dink around with Affinity. But 50$ each for Affinity products---it's a no...

    Best new OSR dungeon crawl?

I really liked Geir Loe Cyn-crul by Anthony Huso. Was a little too much hack and slash for me, BUT overall, I thought it was amazing and worth the cash. Cool concept with giant caverns instead of your regular 10' passages...
