I own every edition since I picked up the 1E brand new. Blew my having only played D&D to that point mind. My favorite is 2E. But all of them are just to much crunch for my deteriorating neurons to deal with.

I picked SSk up last night and gave it a read through. Very nice. As I am already working on my OSR heartbreaker based on Knave 1E and bits from classic and modern D&D that I prefer, it's a little late for me. I don't know anything about Stara Szkola, as I don't own it and have not read it. But to comment on the rules as written, I like them. But I am a sucker for flexible magic systems. This has some nice ideas. I might steal adapt some of them for my current game.

I recently picked up Heroes of Adventure by The Nameless Designer at https://nameless-designer.itch.io/heroes-of-adventure. It is CC BY 4.0 and has some nice bits in it. I like Knave but want a little more mechanical heft. I bought this because I like their take on Gods and Religion.
