Sir Brion O Shea is lucky to have a generous uncle. His own father is a landed knight, but poor, and his resources were barely enough for Sir Brion's oldest brother to be properly outfitted as a knight. Brion always had a great relationship with the common folk, which impressed his uncle (who as the elder was much wealthier than Brion's father) and led to Sir Brion also becoming a knight. Sir Brion loves all of his family dearly and does not know that his oldest brother might begrudge Sir Brion's fortune and harbor some jealousy at Sir Brion's 'undeserved' luck.

Brenda is a PR person (reflected in her Charm) who has been doing faang seoi work as family tradition. She was, however, uninterested in her family's Shaolin Tiger style, and moved to practice JKD, which she mixes with Capoeira.
However, she took as fish to water to her family's external alchemy, so the head of the family (her mother, in that case) didn't press the matters. (If the girl comes back, she'd teach her. If not, a family style is not to be revealed to outsiders!)

Note: Tony is a master of Internal Alchemy, as opposed to Brenda's External brand. He can make himself faster, able to jump higher, and so on, by rolling the relevant skills (with a lower difficulty as assessed by the GM).
However, he needs to expand Yang Hei, and he only has 3 points of that. Rest and recovery might be necessary.

Bio: Tony grew up on the streets, and knows them better than most people. Then he fell in with a Hung gar master who was also a respected faang seoi. He adopted him, taught him his skills and Tony is continuing his legacy, protecting mortals.

Background:
Eloy is and always has been burdened by expectation and obligation. His father and hit father's father were both knights in the king's musketeers. That he would follow suit was a matter of honor and duty. Every moment of his childhood was carefully managed. When he was old enough, there were tutors for every subject: math, science, business, history (especially military) and theology. But his favorite was swordplay, under the tutelage of the great Thiago Arroyo**. The old man was everything young Eloy wanted to grow up to be. And in the evenings, oh the music he would play!

Eventually Eloy indeed followed in his forebear's footsteps and joined the Musketeers in the king's service. He had grossly underestimated how downright political being in the king's service would be. From his years of tutelage, he was prepared for a soldier's work. What he hadn't expected was the jockeying for favor and position among the musketeers themselves. Being something of an idealist, it sickened him, and he soon grew to resent being in the king's service.

Rather than seek a way out of service and bring dishonor upon himself and his family, he sought a way around. He would volunteer for any and every special assignment that was sure to take him from the court and the company of his fellow musketeers. He was sure to carry out each of these assignments with the utmost care and excellence, and before long developed a reputation for being a highly regarded special operative. Now he answers to none but the king himself, entrusted with only the most critical of missions on the king's behalf. He is given an unprecedented amount of freedom to carry these out as he sees fit. For his newest assignment, he's going to need a crew...

He supports himself by gambling, the support of his..."patrons", and the occasional bit of petty thievery. Needless to say, he has a knack for acquiring enemies too, so he seldom stays in one place for very long. He's decent enough with a blade or his sling if it comes to it as well, but to him, fights are something best avoided.

21) Chris (Christa) Sato
Purist note: I can not find the correct spelling for the Japanese name that shifts between male and female by adding one syllable. There were several. Rather than do it wrong, I opted for an English equivalent (from the dub).

All this set of characters are based on the "anime" of The Neo Frontiers. The full anime series Neo Frontiers is not supposed to focus on any particular character but follows several characters throughout the course of the series. Although each one gets to be a star in one episode some just continue to follow their life. They are all interlinked around the high school "stage" characters. They will be at the level of when they first appear in the "anime".

When we first meet Chris (EP 3), he is a classmate in the same grade as Simone, Kaede, et all. He has a more distinctive round face and light brown hair (longer than most males we see in the show who all have shortcuts). We will see Chris around the school in the background.

In EP15 (I believe), the audience sees Chris again. They are talking at the Frjtz with a girl in a school uniform that they seem to know. The girl has that round face and light brown hair. It is Kaede who says, "We will see you later, Chris". "-ta." (making it two distinct syllables). You can see her face scrunch up, as she kicks herself. But Christa continues on unfazed.

Christa has a job as a hostess /wrangler for a restaurant/cafe. We see it twice in the series. Simone and family for just a dinner in EP10, Christa seated them and was on screen for like six seconds. The second was Episode 15, when Kaede, with her family, came in for her birthday (making a big deal about going to a restaurant). Note: This does show the difference in the girls' different social and economic statuses.

The restaurant in question is The Blue Stage. It is a retro-music themed restaurant. The Servers are all Bio-Meken of famous singers of an earlier time. Upon occasion, a server will "do a set" on the stage; then go back to serving. Christa is the hostess in a more restaurant sense, taking reservations, assigning tables, and getting servers. (All while wearing a cute black dress and an animation error.) We'll see her in charge of the bio-meken, directing and helping them along.

The Bio-Meken we see are Norma Jean (Marilyn), Elvis, Crosby, and some other artists I could not place/ name. (Nor can anyone else I talked with.)

Chris/Christa is a Mal. (A term we did not get until Series 2)

Mal (M au ll or pronounce as Mall or Moll in English ) This is an in-world slang term for a Boy that is very feminine in appearance or a Girl who is very masculine in appearance, to the point of confusing people. They often have body languages that go with this look. (Their biologic attraction may be reproductive or other). The term comes from an Idol (and a media show they were on). For many, Mals are an ideal of stylish good looks. They are often well dressed and very composed... as well as slender and athletic. Tragically, the inspiring Idol, Projat Mal died in a plane accident just as their personal career as an actor and solo act was just taking off in series 2.

However, we don't get to meet the media star until series 2 except for one brief reference as somebody tries to put on their audio disc in a player in series 1.

Note: In the Neo Frontiers Era, they seem to pronoun based on how you are dressed/ act. So a Boy with a feminine appearance will be addressed female.

Note: In Series 2, we will see Christa again. Norma Jean is her roommate (?). She has a new hostess job at a much higher class restaurant. She is both the hostess and is in charge of the marionette meken servers. She is also dressed in eveningwear and has serious jewelry on. She has a very feminine shape at this point, so some degree of intervention occurred.

When I first saw the video I caught something that looked funny. It was like an animation error where you could see an "unsightly bulge" in the waitress/ hostess's skirt. Later it'll be pointed out by the owner of the video that whom I thought was a female character with an animation error (twice) was being voiced by a male actor in the Japanese version. "She" had a deep female voice in the English dub. (Later my friend pointed out voice credits for "Chris" were the same as "Christa".)

The bits in episode 15 stuck in my head. Chris becomes Christa in the middle of series 1 and no one comments on it. Nobody blinked that this person was dressed differently or even existed. The only thing we get is a weird bit of dubbing which was Kaede going Chris - Tah making it two distinct syllables instead of putting it all together. Which is an obvious oops. It is a very different world from ours.

There is a whole subsection on gender and such in the Neo Frontiers because of this one character.

It's Dungeons and Dragons, but you are dogs! The basic premise is that
humans vanished mysteriously eons ago, and now animals have become
sentient and rule the world. All that's left of the precursor civilisation
is relic artefacts and vague commandments "be a good dog!"

There's nothing much wrong with the system that I can see, but to be honest
I am getting burned out on D&D derivatives and too much cutesiness gets grating
after a while. There are lots of cute pictures of dogs in adventuring gear
though, so be prepared to go "awwww" frequently as you flip through the
rule book.

Backstory: Thora of Clan Fynmark, or Thora the Quiet as she is sometimes known, is an apprentice mage in the Kingdom of Vestland. She lives outside the town of Sudorn, on Vestfjord Bay, and studies with a wizard who has a small tower in the town. Having been raised in a fishing family, she is also a skilled sailor, and dreams of sailing away from Vestland to explore distant lands and seek out arcane knowledge, or perhaps heading west into the hills and forests to delve into forgotten tombs and ruins. Anything is better than a life of mending nets and boatfuls of herring.

Appearance: Kalina is slim and tall, with intense grey eyes and long dark hair. She is well dressed with a certain elegance, and sometimes wears some noticeable jewelry including a few talismans. Other times she puts away her weapons and her jewelry to wear her beguine’s habit which is similar to a nun’s habit.

Arms and armor: Kalina has a sidesword and a latchet crossbow which she typically carried on her horse, now that she is on foot she sometimes carries the sword strapped to her hip and sometimes rolled up in a bundle. If she has armor it is worn beneath her clothing.

Personality: She is fairly quiet, but extremely judicious in her comments, often thinking of things that the others hadn’t considered. Her words carry a great deal of weight, and she was effectively one of the three leaders of the group during their voyage from Belgrade to Krakow.

History: She does not discuss her purpose for being in Hungary, but it is known that she was close to the inner circle of Fra John of Capistrano. And as soon as he died, she had little to say about him.

Language: She speaks Low German at an expert level, as well as Latin and Polish

Private Bio: Though she is dressed like a humble Beguine, and she is in fact a widow, Kalina has the bearing of a member of the elite. Indeed, her family the Krols are prominent both within the German-speaking Danzig patriciate and among the Polish gentry in Prussia. She was working secretly on behalf of Danzig to keep an eye on Fra Capistrano, who she followed from Breslau all the way down to Hungary (and is now somewhat retracing her steps). The Prussian Confederation and her relative in the Danzig Senat were very concerned that Capistrano was going to rabble-rouse on behalf of the Teutonic Order, which could affect their war with the Order. They will be relieved by the news of his death.

Her current mission is to proceed to Breslau where Capistrano still has followers, learn their plans, and more generally to determine if the Silesians intend to interfere in Prussia. Kalina is an excellent Spy, with great skill in diplomacy and stealth. She has a knack for convincing people what she wants and she can learn what people know, talk them into or out of things, or just confuse them fairly easily. She is attractive and not above using her looks to advance her goals. She can change her appearance considerably, from a nondescript Beguine most people would ignore, to a much more striking style hard to ignore, especially for men.

Fighting Strategy: She carries a self-spanning latchet crossbow, which she will use when fighting at a distance, though it does not cause great damage and is mainly useful for hunting small game. She carries a sidesword and knows how to use it, though she prefers to avoid close combat. She secretly wears a fine mail corselet under her habit which will help her stay alive in a fight. Her most important fighting Feat is her Distance Fighting MF, which grants her a Free Dice on Active Defense so long as she has room to move back. When fighting in close combat she will use one MP to attack and 2 for Defense or movement: stab and retreat. She will also use her Sidestep and Ringen MF (Free Dice on any grapple attempt) to avoid grapple. If Grappling is inevitable, she will switch to fighting with her small dagger, and use Ringen MF to try to throw her opponent.

Magic: Kalina is a spellcaster of some skill (Sage 2nd level). She carries a powerful Talisman of Freyja, which is active, and grants +2 to Spellcraft rolls, +2 to Bluff and Diplomacy (above what is on her sheet), and +1 to Defense in combat (above what is on her sheet). She knows the spells Dance of Idise, The Flight of Devana, and Holda’s Disguise. She is eager to learn more Cunning Magic if there is any opportunity.

Special: Flattery (Free Dice on Bluff or Diplomacy attempts toward people of higher status), Detect Status (Free Dice on any skill check related to determining someone's social or political status), Peace of God (when wearing her habit, Free Dice on any Bluff, Intimidate or Diplomacy check related to evading a fight, robbery or harassment), Patron (can call on the city of Danzig for help or it's associates), Researcher (Free Dice on any knowledge check with access to a library or equivalent resource).

Glad to see that this challenge has inspired a lot of people. When I first proposed it back in 2020 and started it in 2021 I never thought it would get this far.
 
TardisCaptain TardisCaptain aw, man! I was just thinking about Cyber Generation the other day as a possible game to try out for the challenge. Not sure if my old book still lives or where it is if it's still around. That's a lot of games though.

I ended focusing on Savage Worlds to really get a feel for it, cuz I tried it out for the first time last week and it really hit the sweet spot for simplicity, with enough customization. Started reading Mythras today and might try it out as well. But Cyber Generation brings back memories, granted I only tried it out briefly in the 90s.

Wanziipah's parents are both well-known in their community for their skill at healing and spiritual guidance. They tried to guide Wanziipah to follow on their path to act as a helpful resource for their neighbourhood, but Wanziipah wasn't interested. He saw but didn't understand his family's comfortable but modest lifestyle, and saw the ecstatic reactions of Ollama fans when their teams won and the glittering lives of the star players. Wanziipah was determined (and maybe desperate) to win that acclaim for himself. He spent all of his spare time as a youth at the gym working out or the local Ollama field practicing. His parents saw his obvious determination and, although a bit disappointed, supported him in his passion. Wanziipah went professional as soon as he could and his skill and theatrics quickly made him a crowd favourite.

However, it seems some of his parents' teachings may have sunk in, despite Wanziipah's best efforts. He has begun to feel that his fame is perhaps a bit limited. Sure, he has endorsement deals and fans, but is only respected as an athlete. Wanziipah is starting to want more, to be recognized as worthy even outside the arena. Although not selected for training - yet - Wanziipah has started following around Suyata (marshals and troubleshooters) and barging in on their missions, hoping to impress them enough to be offered a role. Then he'd be able to show everyone that he's more than just another athlete!

Still, she is determined to climb the ladder of The Laundry corporate structure and is likely to either go far or crack up completely under the pressure.

aboard the first freighter they could book passage on. It cost them every credit they had to their name.
They don't know what they're going to do at the ship's next port. But they'll think of something.
They gotta keep moving. They'll think of something...

I'd initially imagined a man with a grand and illustrious criminal career, and in typical Traveller fashion managed to fail my survival roll only two terms in. So, here we have a classic example of reimagining the lifepath based on die rolls.

Day 22 April/ Sakura Sato
All this set of characters are based on the "anime" of The Neo Frontiers. The full anime series Neo Frontiers is not supposed to focus on any particular character but follows several characters throughout the course of the series. Although each one gets to be a star in one episode some just continue to follow their life. They are all interlinked around the high school "stage" characters. They will be at the level of when they first appear in the "anime".

The Dub of series 1 calls her April. The Dub of series 2 (and the credits) call her Sakura. The purists can not blame me for this one.

Name: April/ Sakura Sato
Core Trait: Human (Middle School) Student of the Neo Frontiers Era


April is a tomboy at this point in her life. She is very physically active and a gymnast in training. She is seen playing with the boys more than once. (And possibly the most stylish tomboy out there.) However, she seems to be able to switch to "girly mode" on a dime. She dresses nicely and acts differently when she does. We can see her sibling's influence here.

April is a minor character in series one. She is often being dragged about by her sibling Chris/Christa. Sometimes she is with her father (for non-explained reasons), whom she has wrapped around her little finger. (See the bits of dialog around several of the Chief's press moments if you don't believe me.) She has a few lines of dialog throughout the series, but most of them are fairly unimportant. She seems to serve no purpose but to inflict comedy on The Satos.

It is safe to say, this changes tremendously in Series Two. She becomes the main Mystic Warrior in the series, "starring" in more episodes than any other character. She is one of the main reasons we can tell Series One and Two are actually related.

Note: Since it seems Series Two took on its "significant thematic changes" during the time the OVA was being animated, I wonder what the plans for her were in the original outline for the second season.


Description: Obviously a Sato family girl. She looks much like her sibling. She has the same light brown hair. Hers is long and usually in a curly pony tail. (It is well taken care of and sometimes curly.) She has a fairly round face, but more of a heart-shaped one. She is currently a tween, so lots of changes to come. She normally dresses in "play wear"/ boyish clothing. They are better coordinated than most children. However, when she "gets her girl on", she is quite striking. Even the mayor comments on it.

Potential is used in some urban fantasy chronicles, and a few comic styled chronicles. It gives the character "potential" to grow into a meta set for some "special power". Character a Day 2023: Day 5: Bulletproof Blues

Bulletproof Blues was my first writing credit. It wasn't much, but it helped me get over the imposter syndrome symptom of not being a writer because I wasn't published. Of course, there's a lot more where that came from. But at least I can look at the game and see that I contributed to it.

A lanky 6'3” stature makes Carter look more gaunt than he actually is, but his thin frame hides a power that seems to radiate from his dark green eyes. The style of his hair depends on what state his mind is in- whether it's a coiffed fro or a tangle on top of his head. He doesn't wear a costume, but is rather a more flambodyant dresser, his dress being more avant garde, though it's not an affectation- it's just how his mind works. Tattoos of various types haphazardly entertwine on the cavans of his light coffee colored skin, with multiple earrings and one nose ring in his left nostril almost an afterthought.

Personality

Many who do not know him mistake him for shallow and flighty, but he is usually deep in his own mind, visualizing the world through a unique lens. Music and colors stain his sight, he can't remember if he's always been this way, or if it is because of the power he now possesses. But it is a struggle to pull himself back to more a mundane focus. He can do it, but he finds few things that entice him to do so.

Carter's personality drives his use of his powers- he's more concerned with the outward expression of his powers rather than the effectiveness. He might use his mimicked powers in a manner that is totally alien to the person that has had them for years, while ignoring more obvious uses.

History

Carter doesn't remember his father, other than shapes and images, and a name on a birth certificate that says he was a German citizen. He loves his mother now, but he realizes its her loss that makes it so. In reality, though he allows himself the illusion that she tried, she was an addict with Munchausen's by Proxy. The worst part of it is that he did have issues and is on the spectrum, but that wasn't what she expressed his condition as – it was too abstract, and didn't get her the meds she needed for addiction. Her overdose was in many ways freeing, though he found himself in the not so tender embraces of the street, he at least knew that the street was not suppposed to love him. Music and art were his way from the mean streets, and though he struggled, the beauty of it didn't judge him nor want him to be anything other than what he was. He worked at a small bespoke mirror/glass shop to make ends meet. He didn't mind the work- it gave him inspiration for his art, and he was able to take remainders to use in his studio. His boss also sometimes helped him move his art, and introduced him to clients. One of those clients wasn't what he seemed, and the piece of art that he commissioned Carter to do changed him. He's not sure how or why, but he found he was able to augment his performances with whatever his mind could dream up- and the drugs he took meant that his mind was able to dream up some really outrageous things. Where he was a virtuoso musician and talented artist before, his new abilities allowed him to fuse the two into something new. Soon he found himself signed and thrust into the spotlight. But for himself, he still resides in his mind, making wonderful sounds and colors.

Day 23) Richard Husband
All this set of characters are based on the "anime" of The Neo Frontiers. The full anime series Neo Frontiers is not supposed to focus on any particular character but follows several characters throughout the course of the series. Although each one gets to be a star in one episode some just continue to follow their life. They are all interlinked around the high school "stage" characters. They will be at the level of when they first appear in the "anime".

He is one of the minor characters that help illuminate various sections of the world in the Anime.

We saw him once with Mr. Howerhousen and congratulated the Hornet for The EP rescue and landing. Yet, he is a very important man locally, with a very important job.

His is a story of hard work and putting in his time. He got his college degree in Astronautical Engineering. Unable to get an engineering job, he worked an air/space traffic control job (which is a UZ job with the Ministry of Air and Space, which is now....@). He worked his way up from the screens and into the offices. He did special projects. He worked with unions. He understood the science behind the ships his ministry was building. He eventually took on a position in the prestigious Astronautical Agency. He is now the director for the local spaceport and all A.A. facilities in and around The City. The town's big employer is the A.A. They are assembling parts of ships and beacon satellites. Launch equipment too. He is being groomed for a regional directorship and eventually a high position in the ministry.

We most people talk about The Agency they're talking about the Astronautical agency. Because the Astronautical Agency or AA (and spin-off agencies and companies that are basically AA extensions) are the main employers and most important companies currently. They are the main driver of The Neo Frontier of Space – and other areas. They do science and engineering of habitats, space, and spaceships. (Some of this science spills over into other areas. So when most people say the agency they mean the Astronautical Agency. This change in popular usage has provided cover for others.

Background:
Nobody voted for him, nobody appointed him, and nobody challenged him. By now, not even the Duke of Shadows would refute his claim to authority. Bret Stone is the Sheriff of Shadow River. Victimless and petty crimes are, by and large, of no concern to him unless the duke or his men request assistance. It's the strange, unexplainable, arcane or just plain brutal crimes that concern him. Left unchecked or uninvestigated, these are the events that will tear a community apart. Background


Seb returned from serviing his country and nobody cared. This wasn't the hostility of previous wars. It was just a general apathy. "Respect" was nothing more than a buzzword repeated by fat cat politicians. And all that "respect" didn't help when he was applying for numerous jobs and being turned down for every one. And worse, the country he left was worse than ever; riots, crime, filth. And so Seb became the Forgotten Soldier, dedicated to fighting crime with bullets. The small fish are of little interest to him, although he has no issue putting them down if they cross his path. But what Seb is interested in is the ones too big to fail. The mob bosses, the crooked poltiicians, the foreign subversives. And he is utterly brutal when he takes them out. He sees no point in watching a mob boss walk free on a technicality. He does try to avoid entaglements with law enforcement (although is still willing to kill if they corner him) and does attempt to keep innocents out of it. Innocents generally means women and children, although he's not enough of a fool to leave a woman supervillain uncountered. He still keeps an eye out for military veterans, making donations to veteran charities anonymously. These donations are frequently large enough that the charities in question choose not to dig into where the money originates, which is generally criminal property 'confiscated'. He's even been know to step into veteran's issues in person, if the situation warrants it
 
Well with the current kerfluffel there's sudden interest in our group with my DtD rewrite. So this is a character stub for one of them.

Version :: Telok's

He wants maximun dragoning, so that's a dragonblood dragonborn with extra claw and breath weapon goodness. Plus the option to dip priest or druid for transmutation magic because 'moar clawz' is 2nd level magic, enlarge self is 3rd, and turning full dragon is 5th. Then for some reason he wants a "space dragon" theme, which we can totally do with a bit of background magic item stuff. This is a spread out abilities version, though I think we'll end up piling up some of the skills for bigger numbers in smaller buckets. Tho considering the other people here this may be the only character who can stop blood loss, treat critical wounds, and fly a shuttle.

Hearthstone Bracers are another fairly common magical item, each set containing a slot for a single hearthstone and proving their wearer significant defensive bonuses, giving +2 Armor Points that stack with other armor sources.

Spacer's Voidstone (Artifact 3) This hearthstone seems to absorb all electromagnetic radiation without noticeable effect, placing it beyond the realm of color. It is as dark as infinite distance and prized beyond measure by space travelers. The possessor of a Voidstone does not need a voidsuit to survive the rigors of vacuum and is safe from micrometeorites and the hard radiation of space. It adds one dot to it's owners skills for the purposes of flying, navigating, repairing, and operating spelljammers and spacecraft. Finally it protects against harm during unprotected atmospheric reentry, although it has no effect on the sudden stop at the end.

hindrances:
* All Thumbs: You don't like machines and they don't like you much either. The Tech-Use and Craft skills cost twice the normal experience points to learn or improve. All rolls made to use or repair machinery, computers, and electronics are made at -1k0.
* Intolerance: There's some sods you can't stand. Your character does not get along with certain kinds of people (Orks, sorcerers, politicians, and so on) and wants nothing to do with them. Check the Peer feat (p.126) for some groups. You get a +1k0 to taunt and insult them, and a -2k0 to all other social rolls with that group.
* Law o' the Stars: A true gentleman of the Great Wheel won't draw down on an enemy until the foe draws first. Most honorable people end up being quickly put into honorable graves. Your hero must live by a code of honor that not everyone else subscribes to. Check the Alignment & Honor Appendix for sample codes. Roll an Alignment test (p.192) every time that you violate your code.
* Big Britches: It's good to be confident, but only a fool leads 600 Guardsmen into a horde of 5,000 Orks. You're severely overconfident. You believe you can do anything and it takes a TN 20 Wisdom check to back down from a fight, refuse a dare, or not take a bet. You take a -1k0 penalty to social combat rolls using Wisdom (p.265).

* Fast: There comes a time in every Hero's life when it's time to hightail it away from something that's more trouble than he expected. If that's the case, you only need to be able to outrun the slowest person. When you take a Full Action to sprint you multiply your base speed by x7 instead of by x6. You also gain a +2m bonus to your Speed as long as you're only wearing light or no armor.
* Sand: You're the kind of tough bastard that will keep going no matter what. You can take two extra levels of Fatigue before passing out.
* Sturdy: You are just one tough customer. You might just be big and burly, or you might have skin of steel, or you might just like second helpings at the buffet; any way you slice it, you're tough to slice. Your Resilience is increased by 1.
* Inheritance 2: Good bionic legs -- +2 armor on your legs, +2 speed, Critical Damage dealt to these locations function as normal. However, any result that causes Bleeding or some other inappropriate result renders the bionic limb useless. Critical damage to a limb that results in death has the full effect as it can be assumed that the limb explodes into shrapnel or something.

System Notes: MSPE uses a system heavily based on Tunnels & Trolls, but much more skill-based and without classes. Attributes are generated randomly, and since this character doesn't have a great Intelligence, he was limited for the number and type of skills he could take, so I made him a basic mercenary. At least his high Dexterity will make him a pretty good shot, and the Missile Adds penalty is trivial given the amount of damage guns do in this system.

Afterwards, with no other real skills besides combat, he became a gun-for-hire of sorts, moving between bodyguard work, security, and private military contractors as jobs came up. He has excellent reflexes and is fairly hardy as well, but is much more of an operator than a planner, and needs strong direction in order for him to be the most effective at his duties.

Background: Elodie is rational and intelligent. Intelligent enough that she owns her own medium sized business, built up from nothing. Rational enough that she slightly despises the fact she's psychic. But there becomes a point where denial is the stupid option and she reached it years ago. Pleasant but detached, she fits few's people mental picture of an adept. This works to her advantage.

Background:
Sarah Williams is a woman outside her time. She woke up from being cryogenically frozen in a vault to find her husband dead and her infant son stolen by a scar faced mercenary. Everyone else in the vault was dead as well, and she seemed to be the lone survivor. She exited the vault to find a changed landscape 200 years into the future. The world devastated by nuclear war and turned into a radioactive wasteland. Giant insects roam the land, and ruthless raiders prey on the weak and defenseless.

Early in her travels she met up a small group of survivors looking for a new home, led by a Preston Garvey of the Minutemen. Sarah agreed to join his cause to help restore the Minutemen and defend the people of the Commonwealth. Now she travels the wastelands of the Commonwealth in search for her kidnap son, while helping people along the way, and providing assistance to any settlements that join her cause.
