I have the book (The BASH version) and it's a beauty but I don't have the group to play it. Anybody have experience with this?

No. Not heard about it, what makes it so interesting?I have the book (The BASH version) and it's a beauty but I don't have the group to play it. Anybody have experience with this?
I am extremely new to the superhero genre so I bought BASH Ultimate Edition and Extreme Earth (I also bough the new edition of Strike Force) at the same time. What made me pick Extreme Earth is that it is a more gritty realistic (can I say that) setting than typical 4-color settings and that it is customized for BASH (Though it is available for other superhero games too). I understand that most superhero settings can be tweaked for use with various superhero rule sets but since I have no experience I wanted to minimize my workload.No. Not heard about it, what makes it so interesting?
I think that is a fair assessment though I have only read half the book. I don't like the cyberpunk elements so I won't be playing with them (if I ever find a group that likes superheros). The thing that stands out in my mind of this book is that it is dark. The world they portray is a lot like our own but with a extra helping of corruption and despotic government behavior. It also has beautiful art. Easily the prettiest book I own!Looks to be a kind of near-future Cyberpunk/Conspiracy type of dystopia. Shadow Governments, Corporate Cabals, that sort of thing.
