Well, it depends on how you look at it. The intention of the comic is certainly very different from the humour I find in it.

Not all of these were probably innocent, many comic artists did fetish and nudie comics on the side. Dan Decarlo of Archie fame, even Joe Shuster of Superman uberfame. Some think that Ditko may have inked some of Eric Stanton's famous fetish comics, they did share studio space for a number of years.

Sure some of it is the product of another age, but some of it is a little too on the nose to be completely unintentional, more like animatrs sneaking nude cells and hidden schlongs into animated films.
