The packaged Combat Styles definitely showed up in the MRQ2 Compendium. I don't know if they made it in to Legend.

yeah my memory is getting fuzzy here, as I think I was running alot of BGB around the same time as running MRQ2,And yet... MRQII/Legend is where we first introduced Combat Styles... ;)
It's called Rooms with a View, and it's a collection of 12 locations that you can drop into existing campaigns. I was a big fan of the Mythic Places and More Mythic Places books for Ars Magica back in the day, and I wanted to do the same sort of thing with different kinds of locations. These are not designed as combat encounters (though combat could certainly result from the actions of the players), but instead as interesting places where the characters can interact with NPCs and hopefully find interesting things to do related to them. Ideally useful in a sandbox game where the campaign is driven by the characters and their interests.Congratulations! Can you tell us anything about it? Lots of Mythras fans here!
While this all looks genuinely well and good, I also noted Skyraiders of the Floating Realms. You should toot a bit about that.Tooting my own horn here, and if you are OpenQuest 3rd Edition curious, I've just released The Lost Outpost - the Quick-Start Rules + Adventure, for free in pdf.
Newt Newport been reading the QS this morning. That's a very smart iteration of the core system. I like the mix of older and newer rules elements.
You say the full rulebook is out this year?
Oh, something added to my want list. I'd have snagged it as soon as I read it but I already reached my $500.00 gaming limit for the month this month. (mutter)While this all looks genuinely well and good, I also noted Skyraiders of the Floating Realms. You should toot a bit about that.
Perfect for my needs, greatly appreciated !!!Hannu has collected and shared well over 300 combat styles for Mythras:
The 300 – Mythras Combat Style Cards for Sword and Sorcery, Monster Island, Fioricetta and Mythic Constantinople
The directory based combat style cards have been replaced by Combat Style Card Encyclopaedia Created combat style cards for all (hopefully) the missing ones from RangerDan’s wonderful collect…notesfrompavis.blog
The Hyborean styles are drawn from Ranger Dan's examples, he also came up with a "Combat Style Creator" for those wanting more customisation during a campaign:

When I finally started diving into Mythras about a year ago, I messed about with a form-fillable Mythras sheet, but I got sidetracked by life (it's similar to the form-fillable Magic World sheet with all of the javascript calculations I created and uploaded to BRP Central and here in the content section). I probably should get around to finishing that up . . . Anyway, I'll try to remember to PM you when I finally get it done. Go ahead and pester me from time to time to stop being a lazy bum and that might jar me out of my torpor.Hey does anyone have some form-fillable Mythras character sheets that are NOT on TDM website?
In particular I am after the character sheet from the Character Creation Workbook, it just seems slightly less cluttered than the previous version.
I also love the character sheet from the most recent version of Mythras Imperative - it's far less cluttered, and suits pretty much how I like character sheets these days.
Would really appreciate if anyone has form-fillable versions of these character sheets to either post here in Downloads or to PM me

Do you change daily?
Which edition of Call of Cthulhu are you referring to?
I have never bought, seen or played Elf World. Elric is just another version of Stormbringer, isn't it? Mongoose brought out a version of Elric that I found completely unreadable. What about Elric of Melniboné? Where is Elfworld?
Thanks!
Yes, and they were an excellent addition to the D100 complex. And yet... MRQII/Legend is where we first introduced Combat Styles... ;)
Not exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll certainly add this to my bag of tricks!this sheet I and a few other folks collaborated on is the best i have. there is a form fillable one out there, but there are errors in the autocalculation, and it's for RQ6
I really love how the skills are done in RD100, very clean and simpleIn my opinion, people should buy both sets of rules, plus Revolution, to compare and contrast, taking the best bits from all of them. That's what I have done, in PDF at least.
Yea, I didn’t think so, but figured it might fill a niche. Not exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll certainly add this to my bag of tricks!
Greatly appreciated!
I do as well. A very smart iteration.I really love how the skills are done in RD100, very clean and simple

I dont have the book here to check, so I'll go from my patchy memory.Do tell...?
It’s the best thing about RD100. Others would do well to emulate it.I dont have the book here to check, so I'll go from my patchy memory
The Skill list is small, and conceptually is closer to broad RQ Skill Categories (% chances calulated by Characteristic + Characteristic).
You can specify a few Specialties and receive a moderate or major bonus to the prexisting Skill chances
It means there character sheet isn't cluttered with a long list of skills, and you can easily see at a glance which skills a character is prominent in.
It's my favourite thing about RD100
So you
I don't think that RD100 is OGL, though, so emulating it might be problematic. It’s the best thing about RD100. Others would do well to emulate it.
It's actually OGL, here is a link to the SRDI don't think that RD100 is OGL, though, so emulating it might be problematic.
A close version is seen in Millennium's End IIRC, and Art of Wuxia.
In the former, you have a skill which is closer to "skill categories", and then you have a specialty within the skill which is added to it.
In AoW, you have a total of 10 skills, with a base determined by half your attribute. After that you add 10% per skill level (skills are 1-6). Also very simple and yet allows for as much differentiation as is desired.
I was considering adding a specialisation on the skills at a lower price, but decided against it.
Correction accepted! I'll admit that being a KS backer/early adopter* I've never needed to use the SRD! Hence me not even rememberingit exists. It's actually OGL, here is a link to the SRD

I may have the game terminology wrong, but I do remember the general gist of it:

Nice and clean, not fiddily
It means the character sheet isn't cluttered with a long list of skills, yet no capabilities are lost.
You can easily see at a glance which skills a character is prominent in.

I like that - a lot!
I mean, there is an srd. Seems like fans could get on that! There is a lot to like about RD100, the way how it handles magic systems is superb, I just wish the game would get a revised edition checked by an English-speaking editor .

We should make some more fans to do the writing!I guess all five of us are too busy
For some reason I though that was a boardgame, not an RPG.Has anyone heard any new information on the "Rivers of London" rpg work?

I use a variation, where each trait adds +10 but you can use multiple traits.I like that - a lot!
Supposed to be BRP based rpg. Here's their announcement post. For some reason I though that was a boardgame, not an RPG.
