Apologies if this is too wide of the topic, but does anyone have suggestions for how to look for things on itch.io? I tried the site yesterday and couldn't get much beyond it being a wall of text links, with little to even indicate which were RPGs (although I did quickly learn that the RPG tag was not the thing to click). I'd certainly never have found this bundle without being directly pointed towards it.

That's one of my biggest issues with itch. I normally find a game from it being linked to on another site, following certain companies/designers, and from links to these bundles. They've got a ways to go to compete with Drivethru on that count

Yeah the search function isn't great but I find the best way is via Physical Games, seems to be the consensus place to put ttrpgs:

Tunnels & Trolls and Catalyst (generic RPG supplements, including Grimtooth's Traps, Citybook, and "Maps" books) have bundles up.

Though the Traps series' humor never appealed to me after high school, and even then, weren't that useful, I did get a lot of mileage out of the Citybook and Maps books.

Allen & Co. as usual are awesome in automatically providing updated materials to people who have previously bought the Catalyst bundle. No anxiety or wailing and gnashing of teeth over seeing your previous purchase decision overshadowed by a new offer.

Which made the new T&T solo offer that much easier to grab.

For all you Pelgrane Press/GUMSHOE fans. Also includes the copy of Chamber's original stories annotated by Ken Hite, which I've been meaning to get my hand on.
This Bundle is an immediate trigger pull, and the Gumshoe system is less than useless to me. That’s how good Hite is (and Laws when he’s not writing rules).

Great, been wanting the corebook for a while, the annotated book is also very cool, Hite really knows his stuff in this field.

Just FYI everyone, I've gone ahead and combined the Itchio bundles thread with this one, as there didn't seem much point to having a stickied thread with only 12 replies and two threads about essentially the same thing. If the ttrpg Ichio bundles were more common I coud see making the distinction, but right now it seems rather arbitrary to have two separate threads.

How much of the stuff in the T&T bundle is new if I got the old bundle?

The only holdovers in the new Tunnels & Trolls 2 Bundle of Holding from the original September 2018 T&T Bundle are the Deluxe rulebook (2015) and its GM Screen. Everything else is new to this offer, and Flying Buffalo has released many of these titles only recently in .PDF.

Between the two bundles, I have ~20 solo adventures I haven't been through. :shade:

I think I'm going to start on them with this long weekend coming up. :dice:

Allen Varney doesn't need my suggestions for possible bundles, but one thing that would interest me--and some other people too, I 'd bet--would be fiction bundle featuring titles by D.M.R. Books. They mainly publish reprints of older SF, space opera, sword-and-sorcery, and fantasy.

Holy cow, this Zobeck 5e bundle is a great deal as it incldues Empire of the Ghouls, a 5e expansion of Wolfgang Baur's classic Dungeon underdark adventure/campaign.

This Fate bundle is also tempting to check out Fate of Cthluhu which sounds like a fun campaign to me.

I looked around the DMR Books website. It looks like most of the DMR line is sold exclusively through Amazon. That exclusivity agreement would prohibit a Bundle of Holding offer. But I can always inquire with the publisher. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't think there's an exclusivity agreement. I got the Swords of Steel trilogy from a random booth at the Legions of Metal music festival. I don't remember seeing Bezos skulking around there.

I mean Amazon's Kindle ebook exclusivity agreements. But that's good to know, and in any case the publisher will set me straight.

Thanks for looking into the possibility. For what it's worth, at least some of D.M.R.'s titles are available in e-format from Barnes & Noble, so perhaps they are not exclusive to Amazon and Kindle.

On the Reddit /r/rpg subreddit, a redditor has posted the question "Bundle of Holding site, is it legit?" The early commenters have been complimentary, and I (as the site operator) made what affirmations I could. If anyone here cares to post on that thread with your Bundle experiences, I'd take it as a favor.
Did so Allen. You run a good site and your communication has always been solid.

I actually bit the bullet and registered for reddit today to post there...and then it seemed the general consensus was already positive.

Allen Varney Allen Varney I just wanted to say thank you for the latest BoH email that lists what's been covered in previous BoH bundles, what's been covered in Humble Bundle and what is totally new it the release. It makes purchasing decisions much easier.
