Comic Relief still exists? Huh. I remember the annual shows with Robin Williams, Billy Crystal and Whopie Goldberg in the early 90s.

Comic Relief still exists? Huh. I remember the annual shows with Robin Williams, Billy Crystal and Whopie Goldberg in the early 90s.

It's an interesting one. It originally started as a small thing by the "alternative comedy" crowd in the eighties, but now it's totally mainstream and is a fundraising behemoth in the UK. Red Nose day wasn't even a thing at the start.
