pretty sure those are fan made

And you just crushed the dreams of a 14 year old girl painting her first customs
Good job
how do you think I feel? I was 10 when the cartoon came out, and was a big fan, and have been waiting 40 years for those figures. sure I had most of the LJN figures, none of the ones that were fixed in 1 position, and now that they are FINALLY releasing a toy line of the characters, to hear they are crap from youtube reviewers?

it sucks

especially when Star Wars Black, G.I. Joe Classified, and Marvel Legends are so good.

um, mine are great. What have youtube reviewers been saying?

Would anyone have any direct opinions on the Arcade1Up Attack From Mars Pinball?

I'm aware of the Atgames version with the Gottlieb and Zaccaria tables, but I'm much more interested in Williams tables.

If I had stupid amounts of money (which, obviously I don't since I just wrote that...) I'd get this pinball machine:

Seems like someone here on the Pub within semi-recent memory brought up Crossbows and Catapults.

Since I was subscribed to their announcements for Thunder Road and Unmatched, I had seen info on Crossbows and Catapults relaunching too. It's not for me. Even though I was vastly immature as a tween/teen, I still felt I had outaged it when it was new. And now as an adult all I can think of is how easy it would be for one of those pieces to disappear under something. Still, it looks neat.

I was reminded of it today because it has gone up for pre-order on BBTS.

Anyway, back when it was in the Kickstarter phase and I watched a video about it, I was amazed it used little miniature figures like some kind of minis game. Back when I was a kid, I just kind of thought all you did was knock down castle walls. (probably due to a lack of paying attention to the old commercials combined with 40 years since I last thought about any of them). I think wherever the game was recently brought up here on the Pub, someone observed the game isn't really all that different from one of the oldest miniature wargames, Little Wars. It kind of amazes me that it uses cards for something.

It's a gateway drug to Little Wars. I always wanted this but never got it.

I went to GaryCon one year and got to play in a game of "Little Wars." They used plastic cowboy and Indian figures for the soldiers (just so they would have enough), but the little cannons they had were from that time period and shot little lead projectiles. It was really fun.

I had been wanting this for the past year, and I finally got it.

It joins my Atari Legacy Tempest cabinet.

As an 80s X-Men fan this cabinet was just my thing. It also has Captain America & the Avengers from Data East on it which is a great thing from my perspective. I actually bought Captain America & the Avengers for the Genesis way back in 1992 precisely because Konami's X-Men didn't have any home ports. But I particularly like the presence of the cabinet and the nostalgia I get out of it.

Looks like they made some changes from the original. The castles are more intricate but the crossbows look crap. I remember them being some kind of ballista contraption with a pullback bolt powered by elsatic.. We increased the strength of those and the catapults with extra elastic bands.

Well... X-Men made me a little crazy. And I decided, it's American spend recklessly season.

Let me tell you, when I have all these puppies powered on with their attract sounds running, and the partner and I just randomly playing either the same or different cabs, it just has so much FEELS.

My teenaged years defined by a room.

That is completely awesome. No further words needed. :gooseshades:
