Notes:
* This game contains a Fan Template, Princess: The Hopeful, which will be the main focus of this game alongside Beast.
* This game takes place in the same setting than the Strife In Lake Superior thread, meaning crossovers are possible.
Compared to its sister city Breezeton, Waveton has almost always been in a somewhat precarious situation. Gang wars have plagued the street, and racism is rampant, which is only made worse by the poverty and the large population of immigrates, not to mention religious conflicts.
For years, Beasts were the main supernatural community in the town. Living hidden among mortals, they fed freely while worshipping the Dark Mother in secret. But everything changed around the 90s: after years of exile in the Dreamlands, the Light started coming back, and soon many mortals blossomed across the city, creating an entire community of Princesses, eager to make Waveton a better place.
This soon brought them in conflict with the Begotten; while Nobles were considered kin, if the White Sheep of the family, they were for their part disgusted by many of the practices Beasts had fallen into. Worse, the trauma left by their Feeding had spreaded Taint, making their job all the more difficult. Soon enough, animosity began, and a war started between the two supernatural factions.
Recently, however, things have started to change. With Princesses distracted by this war, the Darkness has been spreading even further, and its minions have become more daring, attacking even the Begotten. Worst even, it seems like they are getting more organized, smarter; someone or something is commanding them, and trying to use them to destroy both sides. And whatever he is doing seems to have an impact on the Primordial Dream as well; people are getting more aggressive, and Ephemeral beings are intruding more often, essentially making the situation bad for everyone.
In this situation of crisis, Begotten and Noble have reluctantly put their differences apart, and formed an uneasy truce. They are trying their best to collaborate, and find a solution to this crisis. However, they realize that they can’t afford to make this truce temporary; after all, it was their war that allowed this to happen in the first place. As such, they must also work to find common ground, and establish a more durable peace between their two kinds.
But can Bringers of Hope and Nightmares made into flesh truly reconcile?

This is a game crossover between two Chronicles of Darkness games, the fan-made Princess the Hopeful and the official Beast: the Primordial, respectively allowing you to play as Magical Girls and people whose souls have been replaced by nightmares in the shape of mythological monsters. In this one, you'll be able to play as one or the other, and forced to cooperate in the face of a bigger threat.
