Yes, if I remember correctly in Knight Rider, KARR was KITT's Lore to Data in Star Trek. It had some minor cosmetic differences to KITT, and a serious attitude problem. Can't quite remember what the main operational differences were between them though. I'll have to dig around for them I suppose.
