I love Vance but would like to see some games based on Alan Garner or Tanith Lee or other underrated fantasy authors as well. Vance was once underrated too.

I am really looking forward to Empires of the East. I didn’t really like the Dying Earth novels, but I love DCC and I think it’s a good fit. I’ll probably pick it up

Is it just me, or is "Dying Earth" a weaker sounding title than "The Dying Earth"?

Either way, I am looking forward to this.

I think it's more about the DCC brand in the title. "DCC The Dying Earth" sounds a lot clumsier than "DCC Dying Earth".
I thought they did a great job with Lankhmar and I'm more a fan of Vance than Lieber, so this is a definite buy for me.
