It's no stretch to say my kids are the best thing that ever happened to me and the most important thing in the world to me, so really I should be doing nice things for them today rather than the other way around.

We don't have kids and my father doesn't mind us skipping Father's Day, which is good because we always forget. My wife has to "congratulate" her father, though, as Mexican parents are apparently very serious about such stuff.

Talked to my Dad today and asked what he would like for a gift since I live in another city and he requested a book. I'm thinking a good collection of Jack London short stories.
