You're giving me Nick @ Nite flashbacks!
The only reason I know about these is because they were all on VHS at the local Library when I was growing up. We didn't have cable in our home, so every Friday we would eat homemade pizza and watch a couple of episodes of TV my parents grew up on.

Legion of Super-Heroes.
The show itself was enjoyable enough, but title sequence is to die for. It plays on the style of older Saturday morning cartoon theme tunes like Johnny Quest of Thundarr The Barbarian, but modernised and polished. For me this title sequence expresses everything a roleplaying game session should feel like.

I also have to mention the title sequence of UFO because nostalgia and deep imprinting. Even now I get a thrill watching it.

(No relation to the DC Comics concept of "Earth 2")

I hadn't thought about that show in years.

This is one of the openings and theme songs etched on my subconcious. I still find myself humming the theme sometimes, including the pterodactyl scream. This Youtube video includes the closing credits, which also included some neat clips:

I'll switch it up with some film credit sequences.

Gaspar Noe's Enter the Void.
