Iconic Title Sequences

Godard always made his title sequences so distinctive in each film.

The animated title sequence to the Wild, Wild West was one of my favorites when I was young. It was re-used throughout each episode, with new images replacing the standard ones at each commercial break. This is the season 2 opener (season 1 was black-and-white, I think).

The memorable opening sequence of Kaufman's Invasion of the Body Snatchers has terrific editing, sound design and music. Never has an invasion been so quiet and unobtrusive.

(just a question... are the opening images of the JJ series derived from the comics? I would like to read a comic with that particular graphics style)

Yes the style of the opening is referencing the art of Michael Gaydos interior art and David Mack's covers for Bendis' really good run on the Alias comic under the adult MAX imprint.
