No real preference, all are playable. I'd go with whichever one you rolled first unless he died.Which ones do you like most, in order?

The first one I rolled with real dice is Volodimir (as stated above, PC1 and PC2 are rolled with the generator, and I actually noticed the only bug while reading them). No real preference, all are playable. I'd go with whichever one you rolled first unless he died.
Every time you reload that page it generates a new npc so the specifics are going to change from person to person who goes to that site. The results are certainly possible if the PC rolled well and got a commission and a promotion in her first term of service.
It looks like they are, although it does seem to have been set to roll for money when mustering out more often than most players I've known would choose to do.Every time you reload that page it generates a new npc so the specifics are going to change from person to person who goes to that site.
I'm just making sure the NPCs it generates are within the normal realm of posipossibi for Classic Traveller.
It's better to use this link.

It seems to forget to give you a second roll on the first term, and it always rolls for money 3 times before rolling for any other benefits. Other than that, I like it, and in fact my first two PCs were rolled with it!
Exactly like that, thanks. Other fun tools there:
Well, she does have Strength B, so I guess lugging that big guy around isn't out of the question. What's this "11" nonsense, though?

It was a joke. Traveller numbers go like so:Yeah I may have messed something up doing the chargen. I'll run through it a few more times.
I have only to list equipment. In any case, everybody who's playing, let me know when you've finalized your PC as I want to make sure I put all their information in one spot for ease of future reference. Once I have all the PCs in one place, I can put up an in-character thread: I'll put an alert here with @names so you'll all know when it's up.
Another Marine? How likely it would be that we knew each other in the Service, and went Travelling together? My guy is finished as well aside from shopping, depending on whether we do that in game. Here he is, a breeze could knock him over.
Name: Nils Andersson
Marine NCO 6A2847 Age 30
3 terms 30,000 Cr.
Sills: Gun Combat(Shotgun) - 1, Tactics - 1, Electronic - 1, Mechanical - 1
Benefits: High Psg, Blade
Yeah that'd be good. Volodimir outranks Nils quite a bit, you probably directed my assault landings, charging ahead to the pirate ships reactors while the rest of us grunts covered you.Another Marine? How likely it would be that we knew each other in the Service, and went Travelling together?

What are the rules for purchasing equipment? Do we use just the listed prices?
How much cash would you advise us to keep around for two months survival. My guy is 22 so accommodations could be quite cheap.Yes, use the listed prices but be advised that on many worlds they are not going to allow you to walk around heavily armed so you may have to check your equipment and surrender it to security personnel.
It depends how well you want to live. "Starvation level" subsistence by the book (page 15 of Book 3) will cost 120 credits per month for both "bare minimum" food and "dismal lodging." I'd recommend 1,000 credits if possible if you want good nutrition and decent accommodations as well as a bit extra for emergencies, but there will of course be employment opportunities and nothing motivates a PC to take risks and go on adventures as much as poverty. How much cash would you advise us to keep around for two months survival. GearOk I'm in.

That's going to depend on what the PCs choose to do. You're all going to start off deposited on a planet after mustering out of your respective services. Whether you stick around long will depend on what you pursue. If you want a ground car, you could have prearranged its purchase via an agent or something like that so it's waiting for you when you arrive. If the initial action will be on one planet, he's going to get a cool ground car to carry stuff in, like tools, and somebody's frickin' halberd.
If you want to lug all that around, you can, but you'll also have a chance to acquire or be given or loaned equipment depending upon what course of action you choose or what jobs you agree to take, etc.If there is no way to stow a med kit and the mechanical tools, like we just off a ship, or something,he won't buy them.
Um not to be too pedantic but I don't believe you can put a silencer on a revolver..Here's Dave Shekter:
He likes to wear the vacc suit a lot so people know he's a space guy. It also works as well as cloth armor.

Hmm...where did you get that name from, I wonder?
Where are you seeing "protective cloth"? I'm scouring the books but I only see cloth defined as "ballistic cloth (bullet proof) jacket" and priced at 250 credits.Cloth armor 250c or 1500c for protective cloth. Not sure what is better.
