Is the site really slow for anyone else today?

Just that. Usually it's pretty snappy, but a lot of features of the site are really slow- I hit new posts and it takes minutes to show. I click a response, and it takes seconds to respond. I drop down the notifications menu, and it takes many seconds to respond, etc, etc. To give an idea, I clicked on new posts, went to RPGG and cleared out my subscriptions- replying to a couple, and came back and the New Posts page still hadn't loaded.

Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same.
 
It was like that for about 15 minutes for me, but it's back to normal now.
 
Hopefully it will get back to normal for me- still a bit sluggish.
 
It's been slugish for the past week or more.

The past 12 hrs have been

Edit: my issues could very well be traced back to lousy Wi-Fi. When I go full 4G, it's a lot faster.

Why would you import Users, if only to permaban them for wrongfun 3 minutes later?
 
Sorry everyone. Not sure why the SSL expired five days after they fixed it. Anyway, if it happens again, I can fix it myself since they graciously provided me instructions on how to do so.

Because we're trialling a new user verification system! Purchasing a copy of Mythras : Mythic Earth : Mythic Internet and posting a dated receipt will not only get you a brown checkmark next to your name, you will also get one "Instant Unban" token, which can be applied retroactively. Verification is only valid for one month, and tokens have an expiry date, so we're sure this new mechanism will encourage and enhance the robust conversation we're known for internet-wide.

I for one look forward to the jello wrestling to see which moderation style dominates. They have the numbers but I'm confident we're Wiley enough!
 
Two thing:

First: I had a bit of slowness when I first got back on the site. However, it seems to have been resolved. Perhaps it was just a lag bubble.

Second: I was going through bits of panic and withdrawals when the Pub went down... and stayed down today. Thank you for getting it back up.
 
Still getting 403s and 404s. F'instace I can open this thread, but the subforum is 404. At least the site itself isn't still 403. :grin:

I was completely chill about it and took it as a sign from above to go out and touch some grass.
Or maybe it was just the benzo's I'm currently on doing their thing.
