Yikes. If I wasn’t waist deep in this Western Zombicide game (that just added horses FFS), I’d be all over that Mignola film.

I play Zombicide a LOT so I feel that this one is really worth it for me.

The zines for Zinequest were so cheap I backed a crazy number of them. We'll see how many actually get completed in the next year!

Me too. I don't even remember exactly what I got. It's like I ordered a bunch of little presents for myself that will show up at random times over the next year.

One of my zines, Swordpoint, might be going to print soon. Neon Gutters and What We Give to Alien Gods funded this morning, so right now all I have left is Agents of BAMF. Also, my copy of For Coin & Blood 2nd edition arrived over the weekend, which I was happy about

I at least checked to see how much they had written. Most of the ones I backed were already written, so I don't expect many failures, if any.

Agents of BAMF just released a preview pdf for backers. Need to download that later to check out. The last zine rpgs I'm eying is Project Cassandra and Warpland. Warpland might be out of my budget for this week, but I think I can squeak in Cassandra. Warpland looks really sweet though

Does Agents of BAMF use the same rules set as Survive ThisII Vigilante City?

No. There are differences between that and Hack the RPG, I'm pretty sure. It is compatible with The Monsters Are Our Heroes, Valor Knights, and Destination: Uncharted. I think there are similarities, but it won't be a drop in.

The Character Collections for The Fantasy Trip campaign has about a week to go. There’s enough information to make some adjustments to the campaign structure to make things a bit more convenient.

This is taking the form of new pledge levels which combine physical and PDF rewards into packages. There are now Print + PDF “one-click” reward levels for those who want physical books along with your digital rewards that are paired up with the existing four PDF-only pledge levels.

I’ve added a retail tier that is five copies each of physical books only, no cards or counters.

Finally, there are two tiers for those who are looking to go big. The All the New Things level assumes you have the books from both previous Perilous Journeys campaigns, and the original counter and card sets from Five Perilous Journeys...but want to catch up with everything that’s new since then. EVERYTHING OLD AND NEW is for those who want everything GB has done for TFT in one click.

What about the CC4 through CC6 stretch goals? As they fall, these products will be added to the appropriate reward levels at no change in reward price.

The New to TFT! pledge reward also benefits: As CC4 through CC6 are unlocked, you get those as well in Print and PDF!

The campaign can’t anticipate all possible combinations, but this should cover the big ones. If you’ve already pledged to a digital level, but the campaign ends before you can come back to adjust...don’t worry: You can switch freely in the Backerkit phase!

I saw this and I thought it would be cool, but I know very little else beyond what the page and promo said:

It looks very impressive - directed randomness should make map creation fast and it looks really nice.

I was looking at that one earlier; there's a nice preview of the 5E 0-level adventurer/funnel rules they're developing.

FWIW, the Let's Role VTT Kickstarter campaign is down to its last day, and they added support for cards. So you'll be able to play games like Savage Worlds with no problem on it.

And we just got an adventure to look at (which is one Fainting Goat released for a few other systems). I still need to download them and take a look. Also, my copy of For Coin & Blood 2nd edition arrived, with a few assorted goodies. Very happy about that

Any important changes or improvements over the first edition?

I haven't dived into it yet, but I remember the publisher had mentioned some elements of 5E had an influence on this edition (they didn't give specifics though). Besides the core book, there is a booklet with Errata they missed and an FAQ. The pdfs will be corrected, and future print runs will. Looks like it's just two things (Blackguard spellcasting and the Spellcasting Die). That one is four pages. There's also two adventure booklets: The Hunted by Diego Nogueira, and Sickness by Elizabeth Chaipraditkul. I see Mass Combat rules are included, which I don't recall being in 1st edition, so there is that. Looks like there might be a couple of new classes as well.

I got the hardcover, and it looks really good. Given I have PoD coupons for Drivethru for both a hardcover and softcover, once they fix the errata, I can always grab another copy (and just gift this one to a friend who I know is interested in the game).

Just got a notification with the launch date of the Blue Planet: Recontact Kickstarter. (Included as part of an "Upwind Rpg" Kickstarter update). April 6th.

I'm a big fan of the 1st and 2nd editions of Blue Planet Rpg. Well, mainly I really like the setting, but both systems have left a lot to be desired. So, I have been really looking forward to seeing a rebirth through Kickstarter. (Maybe the system will be decent this time around).

Reading through the update, I feel a little mixed in opinion. I'd love a shiny new version, but some of the .... expression in the update is concerning. Maybe a deal-breaker. I guess we'll see how it turns out.

I’ve hit my limit on Kickstarters this year after the TOR one. That’s the only one I’ll do.
We'll talk again about this post come July:thumbsup:.

So far my only KS for the year is Everway, and I went in for just the tarot deck. I figured I'm not really likely to run the actual game, and if I decide to, well, I can run it from my Kindle.
(I really wanted to join at the GM level. But $150 was a bit too rich for my blood, especially at the end of the month).

Why is that?

Is my wait for DC Heroes 4th edition about to end?
Because you know you're going to join another by then:tongue:? I don't know what else is in the works, but come on, we both know how "I'm not joining any more KS campaigns this year" ends, when you say it by March...
And before you ask, yes, I'm speaking from experience:thumbsup:!

Though, admittedly, I've slowed down quite a bit by now. Many people in this thread have way more KS campaigns than me, which is actually amazing:shade:!

WOW. So the Zombicide Kickstarter is full of really upset people. People are acting like martyrs over their mis-matched expectations for stretch goals and add-ons. The campaign isn't even OVER yet and some people are furious.

All this for a toy board game! That no one has paid for yet!?! What in the hell, is this normal?

It was fun for a while but the sense of entitlement and whining is disgusting. Never participating in Kickstarter comment sections again. What a bunch of babies.

Yeah, I've experienced that in a lot of KS comments, especially for board games lately.

I think the Hellboy game was a misnomer or something.

CMON's comment sections are downright toxic these days. I just stopped reading the Trudvang ones after the first day into the campaign.

Some of the responses make me do a double-take. Did the campaign end early or something? Are backers pissed that CMON lied to them or changed anything?

NOPE. People are just upset that their demands are not being met. Such deranged sense of entitlement these guys express.

Edit: yeah the Hellboy boardgame comments section was great. I guess I expected more of the same.

CMON backers are notoriously toxic tbh.

As someone who has backed a good many, most board games Kickstarters don't have nearly that much hate in the comments, though you always get a few crazies here and there. CMON just has attracted the most entitled fanbase somehow.

It's because these people don't know that they're putting money on a PROMISE, NOT a PRODUCT. And promises CHANGE.
