A recent Facebook post on a group I'm on reminded me how much I miss light hearted bordering on silly rpg campaigns. I'm thinking campaigns like the Fellowship of the Bling post over on rpg.net

Anyone else here like those?

I'd say most of my fantasy tends towards light-hearted, bordering on gonzo, if only as a counterpoint to my horror games. Sci-Fi in particular seems to bring out the wacky in me, with Paranoia, Star Frontiers, and TFOS as my go-to systems (but did have a fun Savage Worlds sci-fi game a while back where I basically played Captain Stern from Heavy Metal)

Sadly, virtually all of my campaigns end up that way whether I want them to or not. These days I just run things like Ghostbusters 1st ed. rather than fight it.
