Well, just wanted to clarify that yes, rape and tentacle porn did excite me and still does, as does violence in general (I love first-person shooters videogames) but only in fiction. I would never condone rape nor human suffering of any kind in real life. As a father of a 10 yo girl I expect those things stay in the fictional and the imaginary field.

Yeah EDGE magazine back in 1994.

Actually reminds me there was a review of the Longest Journey back in the day that seriously criticised it for not going far enough beyond FPS games because although it wasn't violent it didn't provide a transformative experience that moved the player towards inner peace

No one “upgrades” to SMF now. The only upside is it’s free. vBulletin, which the Site used to use, requires you to pay to upgrade to the newest version, which has been 5.0 for awhile. The site was using 3.0 if I’m not mistaken.
