I figured we could use a companion thread to The Old School Inspirational Art Thread to show off more modern style fantasy and scifi art.
A couple rules...
1) Post old school style art in The Old School Inspirational Art Thread and anime/manga art in The Anime Art Inspiration Thread. If the mods don't feel like going through the trouble of moving a post to the appropriate thread because someone didn't bother to read the OP (or thread title), we're just going to erase it. That said, there is no hard and fast rule for what constitutes modern art but a few basic rules o thumb: no artist that worked on TSR-era RPGs, no art from an OSR or OSR-adjacent RPGs, and no artists whose work has already been featured in the Old School Art thread.
2) no AI art (this also has its own thread)
3) spoiler block any (tasteful) nudity (yeah we are all, presumably, adults, and art is art, but there are many circumstances one might be viewing The Pub forums and at any given moment an unsuspecting relative may be peering over one's shoulder and giving scathingly sarcastic reviews like "She seems healthy"...)
To start with, I really like Simon Stålenhag’s stuff from Tales from the Loop
