One Day - Your world is coming to an end in 24 hours. It's up to you to prevent it!

Here's a one page RPG I cooked up in an hour or so. The characters are regular folks who have just sat down for breakfast at the local diner when the TV or radio begins airing a public announcement about an impending tragedy befalling their local area, or even the world, and they have 24 hours to try to stop it. If they don't fix it, the One Day starts over again (ala Groundhog Day) back at the diner, and the characters have to try it again. The characters remember what they tried before so...

Looks like a fun game. Why D12s? They must be the most underused die in the polyhedral set.
