Harl Quinn Harl Quinn Kheilor never ran outside. He's taking cover near the door inside the building. Going outside without any weapons of his own would be near suicide.
 
And I question why are we going outside through the dangerous door, when we're acting as bodyguards. If at all possible, we should be dragging the client to safety through the backdoor!

Looking at the map, there does appear to be a backdoor out of here via the stage, but we see that because we’re looking at the map ourselves. We’ll have to actually search out that back way out. Right now we see the front door and a door leading deeper into the bar via the stage in the rear. If the clients are the main priority, I agree we should exit at the rear.

Right now I’ll help cover the front making sure the assailants don’t come for us. Right now they seem intent on taking out the grav train’s passengers. Maybe we stumbled on a hit that has nothing to do with us.

BTW I’ll be posting my equipment purchases here soon for approval. Right now just running around with mah money and a compact auto. Anyone downs me and they win a $32,000 credit lottery!!!

Just a point of clarification - Gladius is not your client; he is your regular employer. The clients would be people coming to Discrete Solutions with... issues and problems... that need resolution.

Thanks for the clarification. In that case, whatever's happening outside may just be a random incident. Someone in the grav train is not having a good day. We can either "gitdahellouttahere!" or act like a bunch of "bigdamnheroes" and try and save the day.

I mean, maybe the bartender's got some wicked sawed-off behind the bar OR maybe I can make a molotov outta some bottle of over 100-proof. I'll wait for some chiming in, but I'm leaning towards staying and turning the tide so to speak.

I'm using "client" the way a bodyguard would probably use something like "protected individual", "charge", whatever. I don't know what a bodyguard would actually say even in Bulgarian, and only know it in Russian due to a book I read:smile:.

So, I asked whether there's a door out back, does anyone have an idea IC (and if not, why do we suck as security detail:evil:)?

BTW, Rwolf got same initiative as me, so we either both suck, or are simply taking our time.

The Assembly is a cell of the Ine Givar - think of them as a far future version of the IRA. They champion galactic democracy, are routinely dismissed by the nobility as nothing more than a nuisance, and are rumored to be funded by the Zhodani Consulate to foment dissent in the Third Imperium. The Zhule Sodality (remember one of the guys shouting something about "Zhule"?) is a similar Ine Givar cell but with definite ties to the Zhodani.

Kind of a premonition of danger. You're not quite sure. It's something unexpected and possibly psionic, but you can't pin down exactly what or how.
