Post a piece of art you could write an entire campaign based on

A little more crayon/oils, a bit less photo, could be a new Salvidore Dali. Tried tagging "like a Dali painting" on to it?

Ok, so I put "Woman with a bow and arrows, doing archery in killer high heels. Has Hairy legs. But has the legs to do it justice" into an AI art program, and got . . . this:

Great, huh?
I was excited about that site after discovering it due to the uproar, but everything I generated looked as wacked out as this.

So - found an article and a set of images to set a chronicle in. It is images from a proposal Mars Base from an unlikely source with NASA aid.

Near Future Sci-Fi. Use for a police game. Use for a small village game. They could be the soap opera of the building the next vehicle to go in place. Use as a backdrop for other chronicles. Imagine "Variant" vigilantes enforcing justice in the domes, rather than skewed corporate law. Imagine UF as just enough Humanity is in space that the paranormals are with them... or the First Ghost on Mars occurred.. is angry.. and has all the power of the entire planetary psychosphere at its disposal. What happens when the Martians (immaterial beings) begin to crop up in dreams and even take over human colonists?

Makes me think of Waterworld, which is a guilty pleasure of mine.

If you like Water World, I have done a lot of work on Neptune's world. To Summarize:

The world has changed radically because of one man's insane genius and lust for power. Using the power and wealth of the ocean, he strove to take over the Earth. He almost succeeded. While Dr Neptune is gone, killed many years ago in the raid to stop his plot, his legacy has changed the world. The ocean level has risen drastically over the last ten years. (231 feet) This changed the weather patterns and the political systems. In a twisted bit of irony, the doctor's mad scientist technology has saved, as well as destroyed. It allowed mankind to move into the seas, colonizing the deep frontier. He developed pressure fields, energy conversion systems, life support systems, and gene therapy to alter dolphins and humans. The world is now a place no one would have envisioned because of one man's actions.

In many ways, it is a Blue Punk world... where you can play people on a sea-crete island, boat people, sub people, submarine habitats, or people who are living in the Venice Zone (where the old lands were not completely submerged), or the near cyberpunk surface world left. (It is not quite as dystopian as Water World.)

This brings me to three Pinterest Boards. They are my collection of things that fit in the flooded world of Dr Neptune. You might find the information interesting and useful.

To answer your question, yes I plan on publishing it someday. I have a game system (edition 2) in process capable of handling just about any setting or genre.

Vader gets around, a play in 5 lines.

Vader: "Xenomorphs... I am your father."
Baby Xenomophs: "Skree! SkreeSkree Skreee!"*
Mrs. Xenomorph: "Skree Skree skree skree, hissss."**
Baby Xenomorphs: "Skree skree skree!"***
Vader: "Yeah, I have no idea what any of you are saying."

*Translation: No! It's not possible!
**Translation: It's true, children meet your father.
***Translation: You're not our real Dad!

Wait...Vader is a Human Bard now:grin:?

The Boy has good genetics. Imagine Xenomorph XX121 (or Internecivus raptus) with all that force aptitude (cough midichlorians cough). Good genetics would make him so sexy to a queen... Now I am not working on the logistics of this (mind blanking...)

(And see, I saw this picture and went... "Oh the Xenos wiped out a unit of the Storm Troopers and Vader was sent to investigate... now they have killed off most of his escort and it is time for the main event. The Queen still might want him alive for the implantation of a queen egg. )

I don't think 1E has sorcerers. And anyway I was making an Order of the Stick joke.
Sure, but Fighter/Thief/Wizard is exactly what you need to become a Bard in 1e, ain't it:tongue:? Replace Wizards with a custom "Force Sorcerer" class and you're done:shade:!
...If, for some reason, you want a game where Vader woos xenomorphs, that is. I sure don't, I was just making another Order of the Stick joke (anyone remember the bard with the many kids:grin:?)

I started noodling on the chronicle/ setting book. I decided to do it "out loud" in a building thread. You can see the link here: Read and comment.

It all started with this, one of my most :thumbsup: set of images to date:

So I thought about it for a bit, about an hour or so, and I put down some notes. I created a document (with a lot of images - most of the 14 pages), with nearly 2k words about the setting. So I thought I would think out loud here on the Hub.

I really feel like I missed prime opportunity for smack talk here. I'm just going to sob in the corner a little and then slip out when no one's looking.

Oh shit, someone let him watch Dream of a Thousand Cats, didn't they?

Or a Bond Film (Blofeld's), or Inspector Gadget (Claw's Cat), or Austin Powers (Dr Evil's Cat) or ... well there is a long history of cats making their owners try to take over the world.

And really, we should be looking at that cat's owner carefully.

Or, the Cat has decided that it's Human is not doing enough to conquer the world and has taken matters into their own paws (after all, it could of watched Pinky and The Brain and decided that if a rat can do it, it can OR saw or SWAT Kats and realized it could be a villain on its own.) .

Here is a bigger image of the picture.... HERE is the link to "the about" for the image. The real science is cool as inspiration to this seeming piece of mad science. I sense potential Super Heroes or Banestorms here.

I want this as a cover of an RPG setting/ game

The Mysts are covering the land. Magic has returned in full force (rather than the mythological level it was before). The Fey Lands and The Blood Lands (i.e. of the Flesh and Blood) are one, with occasional overlaps with the Spirit Lands. Your group might be trying to solve this as to why? It might be trying to utilize it for their own gain. They might be trying to find a way to fence in various lands.
