Mods - I wasn't sure if this was the forum for "ads" for RPG benefit products or not. The other forum for gaming resources looked like free stuff by members, while this is a charity DTRPG product. If I've put it in the wrong place let me know!

Hey everybody,

I have a favor to ask of you, on behalf of an under-sung early pillar of the OSR. Jim Kramer not only wrote a bunch of great modules with his Usherwood label (also on DTRPG!) but he was the silent workhorse whose layout made the dream of both OSRIC and Knockspell magazine an reality and inspiration for the many who took those ideas and ran with it

Jim's been in the fight of his life against brain cancer for a long time, duking it toe-to-toe for the last three years. He's still fighting. This product is not only to give he and his family some financial support, but to show him we're all behind him as he rolls his saving throw (again).

I don't get out all that much on the various social medias. This place and few other old-school forums, and Mewe, are my only online hangouts. If all of you could spread this far and wide where you happen to be known, I'd really be thankful.

In addition to your support, I think you'll all be pleased at the gaming content provided.

From the DTRPG blurb (where it's received its first verified 5-star review) :

"Saving Throw -- a fundraiser fanzine to help James D. Kramer

You may know Jim Kramer from his Usherwood Publishing modules & supplements, or his work helping produce works like OSRIC and Knockspell. You probably didn't know Jim had multiple brain surgeries to remove tumors, and the battle has gotten much harder. To help Jim and his family during this difficult time, a group of his friends, collaborators, and first edition enthusiasts banded together to make this fundraiser fanzine, where all royalties go directly to Jim and his family.

This is a lot of material!

The Mere Beneath grabbed my eye first and is a cool water-based dungeon with some unique ideas.

Yeah, I think it's high-octane in terms of playable material. The Mere Beneath is a great dungeon; glad you're finding stuff in it you like!
