Shelfies

Best Selling RPGs - Available Now @ DriveThruRPG.com
I’m not really too worried about that. If for some reason Amazon goes out of business, the digital content that people bought would be sold off to another company in the liquidation process.
I'm not really talking about rebought content but more the free shows offered. I just can't see buying all my 1000s of DVDs again as a streaming content. I will however rip them to MP4 just so I can watch them whenever.

Oh yeah, well I can see that, if it’s free now and someday it won’t be.

tha'ts what I started to see happen. So many of the movies, tv shows, etc that I had started disappearing from the free category and showing up in buy/rent.

I remember there being a shelfie thread but I couldn't locate it - Mods feel free to move this over into that thread if you want to cut down on thread clutter.
Otherwise, here's a place for everyone to throw some recent shelfie pics, because we all love seeing 'em!

I had to take some house pics for insurance recently, so I snapped some shots of my reading room bookcases - they are my pride and joy - it'd not just rpg books, but they probably have taken over about 70% of the shelf space now - I collect far too many rpgs than I can ever run or read, but I sure aim to die trying...

I read the title too quickly and thought I'd have alot to share...

Great looking shelves and collection.

I'd post mine (I screwed together ikea kallax to have 7 hole height by 6 hole wide - yes I'm using 'hole' as a unit of measurement), but I have everything in ikea boxes so that the casual guest doesn't think I'm weird.

About half of my setup is boardgame related, a quarter rpg books, and a quarter family related stuff.

Folio Society Howl's Moving Castle trilogy....Nice.

with the move, I've had to rearrange my library. I also updated it and added a few more shelves. I'm still rearranging everything.

Walking into my library.

The start of the film section.

More of the film section.

Heinlein, rpg's, historical fiction, comic collections.

Frank Thorne, science fiction, paperbacks, Manara, etc.

Fantasy, cookbooks, Hard Case Crime.

Robert E. Howard, Burrough's Mars novels, signed editions.

My desk and the last of the movie shelves.

I have never been more envious!

I'm more envious of the fact that Kilted Rob Kilted Rob just moved and is so organized. I still haven't gotten my room organized after 2 years! I keep saying I'm getting there, then I get more stuff.
It's been four months and I'm still unpacking and rearranging.

it's the cook and teacher in me, bet your ass I'm organized.

That's a more recent find. Bought it for the Delta V rules but haven't played that or Universe.

Some older photos but the office is a mess these days so this is the best I have. A couple years out of date.

Oh wow, Albedo! I recall playing that when it first came out. Lol. Great game library!

what is the difference between Way of Kings Prime and the regular version?

It's an earlier version of the story written 8 years before the published version, quite different from the later drafts.

I've been organizing my gaming office (far from done lmao), but here's the collection as it stands today...

Aside from that, I have a basket of board games, a bunch of CCG stuff, and a few books and box sets laying around loose.

I'm always amazed by the obscurity of some of the titles in people's collections.

When I was growing up the only rpgs that could be found were from TSR, Steve Jackson, Palladium, Games Design Workshop, Games Workshop and Avalon Hill RuneQuest.

Later when I fell out of the hobby I saw White Wolf Publishing games, but that's about it.

It's the hipster/contrarian in me. I'm always fascinated by the obscure.

Nice to see a Daredevils box set still surviving in the wilds!

Gringnr Gringnr what is that Planescape book you have? I'm guessing it's the print on demand version of the original box set, available on DriveThru. I still have the original box set in excellent condition, so never looked into it. If it is, how are the quality of it? A lot of the scans of older D&D books on DriveThru wasn't always that great.

It looks really good. They did a great job with the colors and it's a clean-looking product. And yeah, it's the POD version.

One shelf is missing (DCC, Dragonbane, Talislanta Savage Lands, Cyberpunk Red, Shadowrun 2e, MYZ Genlab Alpha, Warcry, Green Knight Boxed set...).
In the ugly plastic bags are Sea Evil and House on the Borderlands boardgames.

The other thread is here -

I only post that one too because it's still active. Maybe a mod could combine them? TristramEvans TristramEvans ?
