If you ever want to sell a copy…View attachment 70734
Snagged a second copy of Gristlegrim Dungeon. I was the only bidder, so I picked it up for $22 + S&H. This one looks brand new. My other copy is intact but has some wear. It was given to me free, so I'm not conplainin'. Nice to have a "shelf copy" of this one, though.
Wasn't there a Chthulhu setting in WeimarNot directly RPG related, but purchased with the intent to use it for role-playing. I just got the book "Berlin Police Force in the Weimar Republic" delivered.![]()
Yes. Berlin, the wicked city. Which, already is in the bookshelf.Wasn't there a Chthulhu setting in Weimar?
Next up in my ongoing effort to abuse myself with 2d20, I decided to snag the new Dreams & Machines starter set. It's much lighter mechanically speaking. Also, feels better organized. Three, books, dice, cards, tokens and map, which all fit within the box. A nicely designed set up in packaging in that regard.

Is it just me who doesn't believe in "last purchase" statementsYou want to sing some praises on this one or otherwise elaborate upon it? The description sounded neat to me. I notice none of the new 2d20 games seem to be using the special D6s. (Captain's Log ditches them too) What kind of Starter is it? Is it just something to barely give you a taste in anticipation of a big hardcover book or more something like the Dragonbane set (pretty decent game in a box)?
I'm trying to stop buying new stuff, but wondering if this should be one of my last purchases.
I ran this a few weeks ago and it was great. Very unusual but a refreshing take on a PvP low prep RPG.This translation of a Japanese rpg arrived, I got it following the KS via Backerkit, thanks toEmperorNorton for letting me know about it.
Hmmm all of these are on my list to get pretty soon. That's a nice limited edition of 40K Imperium Maledictum you got there!Dead tree stuff by mail…

Yep. Lionwing has copies available for direct sales and it’s in retail. Is it still available?
Although I suspect it is quite different, this premise sounds very much like the Luther Arkwright graphic novels ( which has been brought to trpgs using Mythras).Bought this on a whim...

I did not know this. I will have to read about it to satisfy my curiosity nowAnd previously, using an earlier, proprietary system!

Dang, I wish I were a kid! This year I decided to step up my giving game and donated 5 copies of the Swords and Wizardry complete box and 5 copies of the Dragonbane starter box to Toys for Tots.
I really hope some kids get these and they fuel imagination for years to come.

I wouldn’t call it good or even an RPG but I got this Lone Wolf & Cub Game for 99 cents. I think I got it because it was a Mayfair oddity. I don’t think they did anything with it after this boxed set.

From a lady in a meetup group - a neighbor passed them on to her, and she wanted to know if I was interested in them. There were other games too, but they were board games and I didn't want to seem greedy... These three were a gold mine. The DC Heroes one isn't totally complete, but the two Marvel ones are.
It uses the Year Zero engineIf you don’t mind me asking, what system does TWD game use?
