I made my wife a mix tape back in the late 80s. she still has it. it was definitely to get her naked. it had air supply on it.

Giving mix tapes were definitely the highest form of courtship ritual in the 80s.

I still have some of mine made for me by exes.

I can't think of what the equivalent today would be - a pre-loaded mp3 player just doesn't seem to have thesame weight.
