I didn't realize it when I got this album, but it apparently comprises two different Stan Kenton records (City of Glass and This Modern World).

I couldn't find that anyone has uploaded to YouTube the record that I have, but here it is as two separate links:

Current earworm is Maniac by Carpenter Brut.

Full concert performance finishes with it -

In Battaglia, by IANVA
I don't speak Italian, but from what I translated of the lyrics, it seems to be about the Battles of the Isonzo during WWI.
The Ennio Morricone style music is what really sells me on this song, giving it a nice cycle of hopeful and then hopeless feel to the whole thing. Which really fits given the apparent topic of the song.

The "Hate" speech from the computer game adaption of "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream", narrated by Harlan Ellison himself.
I like to joke that the game devs just recorded Ellison talking to another person instead of having him read the lines for the game.

That is arguably three of the greatest drummers of the modern era, and one of them is playing guitar

I had heard references to Neil hanging out with Stewart Copeland and Danny Carey when he moved to LA, but I never thought for a moment there would be video of it, considering how private Neil is (was, I guess... fuck  )

Here's a better version of the "Hate" speech from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream. This version is from a radio play:

I like how AM speaks almost as if he's out of breath through the entire speech. It makes him sound more unhinged than a simple monotone voice like HAL.

Thank you for this, chuckdee chuckdee the drummers for my 3 favorite bands from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I just watched an interview with Stewart yesterday and saw Danny in concert last week.

In celebration of more chaos, thanks to Nightshade (AI poisoning tool).

I've never played Zelda. Don't care to. But this tune sounded SO familiar to me. Finally figured out why. It's basically the background music for every 8-bit RPG I've ever dabbled in, all wrapped up in a lo-fi package.

Brilliant piece of work.

Sf noisepunk Gods Flipper.

I recall an interview with the guitar player of the Dayglo Abortions who said he decided to quit the band after they opened for Flipper and he realized the other band members of his band were more concerned being stoned/drunk 24/7 rather than playing.
