I've lost most of my interest in WotC releases but this upcoming book from Jon Peterson focused on OD&D's original documents and context is catnip to history buffs like myself.
It's pretty pricey though, may wait to pick it up on sale or secondhand.
Today Wizards of the Coast on DnD Beyond released an article called OGLs, SRDs, & One D&D. It talks about Wizards plans for a new version of the OGL.
The recap the OGL stands for the Open Game License. According to Creative Commons, an open license means the content is free to use how you want...
The next version of Dungeons & Dragons has officially been announced, titled One D&D. Unofficially, it's pretty much 5.5E.
Wizards of the Coast also announced an official Dungeons & Dragons VTT for One D&D. You can read about that here.
Looks like Weis and Hickman filed a suit regarding a new trilogy. Guess that definitely puts 5E Dragonlance campaign book off the list.

So the next adventure announced by WotC is Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus. Apparently, as the title indicates it starts in Forgotten Realms and then moves to the first layer of Hell.
Probably includes some elements of The Blood War, I wonder how much Planescape they've included or if this...
You know how it is. Lots of games vying for my attention, but because this hobby is built on network externalities I am once more giving D&D5 material (particularly as it pertains to character creation) a good read.
Some stray thoughts:
I never liked the Champion and Battle Master subclasses...
WotC is doing a big survey on D&D.
Interesting to see what they ask about. It asks a lot of questions about what edition you started on, how you were introduced to D&D, what edition you've played recently, how often you play and of course how many of the 5e books you've bought and how much...
Blogger DM David has done a series of retrospective blog posts on 4e D&D that avoid being too virulent or negative while still being critical.
Having missed the entire online 4e edition wars (thank god) I found this well written and insightful and refreshingly free of OTT venom.
Following closely on the heels of their announcement of Dragonheist, an urban adventure for levels 1-5, comes this one for Dungeon of the Mad Mage for levels 6-20.
Twenty-three dungeons levels of Undermountain, each level is supposed to be distinct and often wildly different, but still with...
So the latest 5e adventure hardback has been announced. It looks to be a sandboxy urban adventure in Waterdeep.
“WELCOME TO WATERDEEP!
A fantastic treasure trove is yours for the taking in this adventure for the world's greatest roleplaying game.
Famed explorer Volothamp Geddarm needs you to...
As a kid I wasn't a big fantasy reader despite being very into (for a while obsessed with) D&D. It wasn't until my late teens and early twenties I discovered Peake, Moorcock, Leiber, Garner, Smith, Brackett and Vance.
So I never really got into reading D&D or other RPG novels as a kid or a teen...
So Mearls announced on Twatter that the next 5e book will be Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, looks from the little that we know that it will be dedicated to the planes, which I think is cool. They had hinted at a planes release and I'm a fan of Planescape (as my avatar indicates). But I am a 5e...
