I've been working on White Mountain Rescue which is a Carved from Brindlewood game utilizing several mechanics from Brindlewood Bay and the Between.
Concept: WHITE MOUNTAIN RESCUE is a roleplaying game about a group of search and rescue professionals working for, or with, the US Forest Service...
I thought I'd move this out of the Not Cool Miniatures thread in hopes it will help them be cool. LOL
Basically, almost 10 years ago I boxed everything up and I am just now pulling some of my unfinished projects out. One was a major Horus Heresy project, and I am starting with 20 World Eaters...
These are the games I am wanting run via Zoom this coming year. I do NOT plan on running all of them, but hopefully at least a couple this year.
I plan on these being short to medium length campaigns (at least 10 to 15+ three-hour sessions). The weekly slot would be either 11am to 2pm EST or...
We have a cool miniatures thread, but I didn't see any place for this one. At first I was horrified ("thin your paints!" flashback), but then I appreciates the "what if?" aspect of what 100 layers would look like.
The game I developed and later co-wrote with Jason Cordova, the Between: Ghosts of El Paso is now available on DriveThruRPG. It's re-skin/campaign for the Between (a PbtA game that focuses on hunting monsters in Victorian London by Jason Cordova). Ghosts of El Paso about a group of ghost...
With Ghosts of El Paso wrapping up (PDF available in a few weeks or less), I've been working on a couple other projects. One is a pirate hack of the Between called, "The Isle Beyond the Mists."
Concept: The Isle Beyond the Mist is a tabletop roleplaying game about a group of supernatural...
Graeme Davis posted on twitter that the rights to some of his older stuff fell back to him and he has posted it on his freebie page of his blog found here.
The Anti-Paladin came up in another thread, so I thought I would start one on Dragon magazine's alternative alignment paladins. I'll try to list all of them in the next few days. I have only had experience with the Anti-Paladin (CE) and the Illrigger (LE)
1. The Anti-Paladin is from Dragon...
They have had a kickstarter up for the board game version of Deep Rock Galactic. I'm a big fan of the video game, but I'm not sure how it would translate to a board game. But I backed it anyways.
I see a lot of fancy dice on twitter. Some are actual works of art. Does anyone use these?
I like bold colors with high contrast (like these for Alien), and generally speaking, those fancy dice look tricky to read.
Yes, those last ones are sushi dice.
We've been discussing Part-time Gods (2E) in another thread and since I ran it last year, I thought it might be beneficial to do a walk through. I will say when I was looking for a game that could emulate American Gods by Neil Gaiman, the Pub suggested a few and PTG2E was one of the suggestions...
We are running a donation drive this month to help offset the costs of running the Pub and to avoid running intrusive ads in the future. If you would like to help out please visit this thread for more details. Thank you!
