Umlauts are so metal. Metal is so in right now. Just like Hansel and breakdance fighting.

Ooh! Can we make a recurring cartoon in the vein of Highlight's 'Goofus and Gallant'? I was thinking something like "Goosifer and Good Duck." :clown::madgoose::gooselove:

"Goosifer 'rock falls, eveyone dies' his party when they delay game in their first dungeon. :madgoose:
Good Duck 'surprise attack, ninjas!' his party when they delay game in their first dungeon. :gooselove:"

I hate to be 'that guy' but would it be possible for the editors to make a post in this thread when they've received materials? That way people who have submitted would know that the stuff hasn't disappeared into the ether, as sometimes happens with emails.

Somebody flesh out and submit my adventure idea where the party find the Hidden Glen of Diminished Deities, the place where gods about to disappear due to lack of relevance hide out before fading from the world.

I could use some cute little mutated beastmen to add to my mutation generator article. Or ghastly little mutated beastmen, I'm not fussy.
I can give it a shot. Are we talking beastmen in Warhammer lore sense of the term or just mutant animals with humanoid characteristics?

Warhammer style goatmen were what I was writing about, but we are also talking about mutation, so really anything goes. Keeping things within spitting distance of warhammer chaos would do just fine as a general tone. If that's possible of course.

I won't know if it's possible until I try, but it should be a fun think to attempt regardless.

"Dear Aunty Saboteur, I had several of my toes amputated and sealed in resin to make a standard poly dice set. No-one in my group wants to use my toe-dice. How can I make them understand that my love for them is the reason I'll walk with a cane for life?"
Dear untoe-ing the line,

Unfortunately, good manners and proper decorum prohibits one from putting their feet on the table. Toes included. Remember, always be courteous to your fellow players.

That's a coincidence. I wrote up both a Ranger and a Merchant for SD to post here but only posted the Ranger for some reason. I'm excited to see what you did with it.
Thanks, I started writing up some Majestic Fantasy stuff for ShadowDark and got inspired with the Merchant Adventurer. However, the terseness of the system has been a challenge with some of my other MF classes.

Yeah, terse is the right word. SD is also laser focused on the crawl, so I essentially wrote the Ranger and the Merchant as the wilderness and town classes respectively. I quite like the Ranger but I wasn't completely happy with my Merchant. I'm excited to see your haggling rules (I effectively built mine into the class).

I was immediately put in mind of the little doodles that grace the pages of the 3rd Ed Warhammer Armies book. I'm not sure why.

This is what I manged to cobble together for your beastman mutation table. I think it's in the spirit of the image you posted. If it works for you I'll PM the high-res version for the zine.

How are things standing in terms of submissions? Does it look like there will be enough for an issue?

Not too bad, we've got 8 submissions so far, but unless I get my shit done this afternoon I'm going to be late for the tomorrow deadline.

It's not an April 1st deadline anymore?

It is so far. I'm just expecting we'll need to extend that a bit. Even at the time I knew it was cutting things a bit close.

Edit: lmao, ignore my previous comments. April is next month, hahaha

Another question, how do you give MLA citations for fanmade RPG content?
